They’re trying to express the ideas of Rabash, but it seems they’re clueless? So, that’s my area of work, to see them as great. I’m judging my own flaws, that’s what’s shown to me in them.

    Hi Koriander,

It’s like playing baseball, for example. Even if you play with someone eight feet tall, 500 lbs, with a wild temper and a history of beating people up, they pose no threat, no matter how bad you beat them – because there are clearly defined rules and they get ejected if they violate them. All that height and strength doesn’t help them or imperil you whatsoever. Here, there is a fence and a field in which the ego doesn’t get to play. You’ll see how the rules and the environment create a space for everyone to advance at no risk. Of course Kabbalists were experts in the ego and thought of how to do it.

Preparation for the lesson. Read the materials as if you’re preparing to lead the lesson.

Everything matters, is important, and has to be just this way, for the correction.

We feel pain, are supposed to feel it as real, because otherwise we don’t realize our spiritual destiny. We don’t want to run for it, which is a kind of suffering, to exert toward it to a greater extent than I feel like it. So to ensure I don’t start thinking I’m already in the garden of Eden or I’m willing to settle for little, awakenings are sent. If I want different, I need to awaken myself through the friends, so I’ll run toward the goal.

Other than being wrong about everything, you’re not missing anything. I’m kidding – you’ve just identified a few things that every beginner feels and questions, at some level. These aren’t the only doubts you’re going to have, nor even the biggest ones. About it being a science, it’s simply not knowing where one is in the experiment. About it being religious or not, it’s exactly the quantum aspect of it, where there’s always two levels to things, which contradict one another, yet coexist. About money, what I know is that Kabbalists never gave free trials like we do here (only to follow internet norms and expectations). Instead, they demanded a large amount of money the moment a student walked through the door (even if after taking their money they’d throw it out into the street). And that’s because of how we’re built on the inside, though we don’t know this about ourselves, and the limitations in us when we receive something for free or at a discount. So, here are some hints, but each one needs a long time to unfold. Not just in explanation but in time required for it to sink in. Because time is needed, whether we like it or not, Kabbalists first advice is always, “the door is open, both to come and to leave.” And there are many ways to the place, and one studies where his heart desires. This isn’t to be dismissive but to inform the student that he has to choose a place of study that suits him, check it, and after he checks, he has to remain in it, despite doubts that subsequently arise, until he reaches the goal. When we dwell on this matter we’ll find that rationally there’s no other choice.
