The best and worst experience from the classes that I have taken thus far is that I am 100% the will to receive – egoistic by nature and action.  It shames me but it also gives me hope that I can overcome this aspect.  I notice my egoistic behavior in so much of what I do and think and say.

In this class, my deepest aspiration is to transform the way I relate to others and to the world around me. I want to gradually remove the ego from my interactions—those aspects of self-interest, judgment, or separation that create distance between myself and others. Instead, I seek to perceive others as integral parts of a unified whole, recognizing that we are all threads in the same divine tapestry.

I want to cultivate a genuine sense of unity, collaboration, and compassion—toward others and toward myself. My goal is to internalize the principle of “love your neighbor as yourself” not just as a moral ideal, but as a living, breathing truth. I believe that true spiritual growth means becoming the change I wish to see in the world.

Ultimately, I want to shift from a self-centered mode of existence to an altruistic one. I see this path as a journey of ascending the 125 steps—the spiritual rungs described in Kabbalistic tradition—as a process of drawing closer to the Divine. Each step, I hope, will bring me closer to embodying the qualities of love, giving, and unity that reflect the light of G‑d.

In starting this new stage of Kabbalah learning, I’m looking forward to deepening both my understanding and my experience of the teachings. My hope is that this course will offer tools and insights that help me connect more meaningfully with my own soul—beyond intellectual knowledge—so that I can transform daily life into a more purposeful, spiritually aligned journey.

Hi, I’m Janae. I’m a mother, grandmother, and student of life who is continually learning what it means to live with intention, compassion, and connection. I come to this course with deep gratitude for the opportunity to keep growing spiritually, especially alongside others who are committed to rising above ego and revealing more Light in the world. I look forward to learning with and from each of you.

I am looking for a deeper understanding of creation.  I have completed some of the basic courses and have two weeks until I can continue with the next course, Kabbalah Experience, and want to keep studying in the meantime.

What most inspired me in this course was the deep reminder that none of us can ascend alone. The Light reveals itself in the space between us—in our effort to see, support, and uplift one another. I was especially moved by the teaching that our individual sparks, no matter how sincere, are not enough on their own. It’s only through unity, through choosing to come together above ego and difference, that we create a flame strong enough to illuminate the path forward.

Through this journey, I’ve learned something quietly powerful about myself: that my desire to give, to serve, and to connect isn’t just a personality trait—it’s a spiritual tool. The more I lean into that desire with intention, the more aligned I feel with the purpose of creation. At the same time, I am also painfully aware of how self-centered and self-serving I am and have been—how often my thoughts and choices revolve around my own comfort, control, or recognition. That awareness has been humbling, even uncomfortable, but also clarifying.

To my fellow students, my wish is this: that you continue to strengthen your connection to the Light by strengthening your connection to each other. May your sparks find each other in the dark. May you always remember that what you seek is not far off—it’s already in the heart of your friend, waiting for your love and your courage to draw it forth. I hope your path is filled with joy, honesty, and the kind of growth that brings you closer to the truth of who you really are: a giver, a builder, a beloved piece of the whole.

If people were connected according to the spiritual law of love—the principle that we are all parts of one soul, bound by mutual responsibility—then the entire approach to the world’s problems would change at the root.

Instead of reacting from fear, blame, or self-interest, we would approach every issue through the lens of shared humanity and collective healing. Conflict wouldn’t be about who is right, but about how to restore balance and connection. Resources wouldn’t be hoarded, but distributed with the awareness that one person’s lack is everyone’s loss. Justice wouldn’t seek retribution but restoration. Education would center not only on knowledge, but on cultivating empathy and inner transformation.

In a world governed by love, polarization would fade because differences would be seen as complementary rather than threatening. We wouldn’t suppress opinions but elevate the dialogue, holding space for unity above division. Even mistakes and failures would be met with compassion and the desire to elevate, not shame.

Ultimately, under the spiritual law of love, humanity would move from survival to purpose. Every challenge would become an opportunity—not just to fix something externally, but to rise together inwardly.
