I liked the rational structure that the previous course presents. I do not question the suppositions such as the big bang theory and why the Creator had a thought in the first place or a will to bestow. I don’t expect a logical Kantian system of the explanation of everything. What I do value is that what I do hear and what is explained makes sense in my experience of how to live in this world. It is consistent with much of what I already accepted, but takes it further. I have encountered Kabbalah many times in my life, but I was not ready to receive it, neither was it made as accessible as this now is. So, many thanks to the KabU people who work so hard for us.
My expectation is that it will take me further and deeper in a similar vein, though I expect some surprises and most of all I expect that I myself shall change, release more of my fears and preconceptions and move towards a greater generosity of spirit, let go of the things that constrain me and prevent me from experiencing love fully in this life.
JohnJohnParticipantWhat most inspired me in the course is the calm and factual way in which the material is presented, in keeping with the non-religious approach. It is more about explaining than about convincing and I have found the explanations helpful and consistent with my experience of life to date.
I have not learned so much about myself, though I have focused on my self awareness and personal growth for about the last 50 years. I think the strongest insight is the resonance between the feeling of lack that you mention, and that I still had, and the feeling that this teaching fulfills that lack.
Although I always had the idea, I have come to realize more deeply that it is not ‘first past the post’ – we all have to evolve for any of us to attain freedom so I wish not only for fellow students but for all people in the world that we can come to see the possibilities that are there for us and that we are missing by looking in the wrong direction.
May all beings be well, may all beings be happy, may all beings be at peace.
JohnJohnParticipantI particularly relate to the carpenter and the energy and consciousness that is stored in what he produces. It helps me to experience everything that happens in my life in terms of energy and to be aware of the connection with the creator and the importance of intention
March 13, 2022 at 4:31 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: How can we get in touch with the upper force and act with it mutually? #283767JohnParticipantWe get in touch with the upper force — we have experiences we do not immediately understand. The upper force reveals itself to us through coincidences, things that work out and give us this sense that there is something else guiding us. When we wake up and start to recognize this as not incidental, but to start looking for a pattern in these events that happen in our lives, then we are starting to get in touch with the upper force and after that, the connection just becomes stronger

But logic cannot explain its own premise. However, I am content not to question the premise, e.g. who created the Creator? That does not bother me. I am pleased to be receiving these explanations which are obviously not yet complete because I have just started the process. But I intuitively trust this particular process. I think that is my Spark.
While watching and re-watching these presentations I feel a change occurring which is a bit tempestuous, but at the same time feels trustworthy. So I am happy to accept this as a mystical teaching, even though this is denied, because changes are happening to me on a subconscious level that I am only partly aware of, but which I understand as a growing of my soul and the development of my spirituality. This is enough for me now. Thank you very much.JohnParticipantI wish that we may all discover the spark within us and that the spark will expand from inside and lead us to the attainment of fulfillment. That we may naturally gravitate towards altruism and replace the egoism with the path of light that we may all feel the connection with all beings and have the insight to see what we really are.
