Since 1995 I have been working or ‘playing’ with a core group of friends to facilitate a spiritual camp in a different tradition than Kabbalah.  We would produce a means by which at least 30 or as many as 90 people would gather in a rustic setting for 8 days to learn and practice that particular tradition.  There was never a manual to follow on how to do this so we had to make it up as we went along.  We made plenty of mistakes but we always would look at them and readjust to work it better for everyone.  I have since retired from my position in the group but have passed it on to a new generation.  It was an amazing experience.

I do agree with how positive social connections can affect the physical status.

Perhaps it’s difficult for us to agree with the results of the research on pro-social spending because of our natural desire to think only for what is in the best self interest for the individual and that a pro-social outlook requires a level of empathy that may not exist for any one individual.

Hello everyone.  I am a senior woman and new student just starting the Kabbalah path.  I am living in the Rocky mountain region of the U.S.

My expectations for this course is to learn and use the tools for deep inner work.

I’ve learned that I have a lot more to learn.  Nothing is quite coming together for me at this time yet I remain grateful and will continue with the teachings.  My wish for fellow students is that their deepest most heartfelt spiritual desire will be attained.

I would think that societal dilemmas would not exist if we in fact put others needs above our own.
