Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #334860Ken McHParticipant
I’ve had personal experiences in life, some of which was through meditation, and some from using ayahuasca, which all led to 10 years of study, showing there truly has to be a creator. At 58 years old, I want to make best use of this life I have been given, and my years left, to understand my place in this Universe and move closer to the creator. Being alive simply to accumulate goods, or be hedonistic seems to me to be a pointless exercise.

I have a couple of his book – ‘the wild pendulum’ and a brief tour of higher consciousness. I’ve also watched a couple of interviews with him. I haven’t finished his books – but I found him before I found Kabbalah.
Just wondering if he is connected to these teachings through what he wrote in his books, and discussed about higher consciousness?
September 26, 2023 at 6:18 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #331589Ken McHParticipantTo perceive reality beyond the physical, to the truth of the higher realms and their function of bestowal and limitless joy and perception. And to see the path laid out for us is to return up the ladder to join them and be like them. And to finally reclaim ourselves as one whole and not the separate parts that we feel currently, based on egoism.
Ken McHParticipantHello,
my name is Ken. I’m from a working-class Scottish background in the 1970’s. Now, I live in Australia. I’ve had profound metaphysical experiences in life, and have studied many subjects since 2012 when I visited Shaman in Peru. I’ve been lucky to speak with many people over a number of years who had out-of-body experiences, and been able to collate and relate these to my own experiences. So, I know ‘there is another place’ but getting there is uncontrollable in some ways, and limited sense can be made of these experiences when one returns. It’s too overwhelming much of the time. I seem to have lost my fear of death through that path, but it leaves many unanswered questions.
I seek answers and a path to follow, and I acknowledge I cannot walk that path on my own. I need help to make sense of this life and I know there is so much more ahead for all of us. I seek guidance and help to make changes to my thoughts and actions in the time I have left on this Earth, and open myself to greater truths. I look at the chaos in the world and can see it is no accident that Kabbalah has been opened up to all at this time. So far, it is profoundly different than I have always been led to believe. I’ve consumed a lot of hours of Kabu’s videos over the last week, and they resonate deeply with some of the experiences I’ve had in my life, but with a much deeper added depth, understanding wisdom that has been lacking.
Looking forward to the path ahead.

What do you desire to achieve from it? #331218Ken McHParticipantI have had some profound metaphysical experiences in life and studied many ‘metaphysical’ aspects for the last 10 years, but I have no direction. I know there is more to existence than the material world, but I’m still ‘rudderless’ on its waves. I seek a way to make sense of the world and control my own direction through the rest of my time here.
