ParticipantIn other to correct ourselves individually we need to connect with others, The other act as a mirror, thus it is possible to identify what needs to be corrected inside of us (ego). We start with a workgroup of people that pursue the same intent: ie to grow spiritually and to connect with the creator. The “ten” help each individual to increase the point in the heart of each individual but also build a collective point in the heart. Since the ultimate goal is for the whole of humanity to attain equivalence of form with the Creator, at some point we have to connect with people outside of the workgroup. I guess that dissemination is a bit like “teaching by example”. Like a parent with is child. When others see what good it bring us, and how the themselves benefit from our correction, some of them will may be follow our example.

ParticipantI am just out of the workshop practice with Julian this Saturday afternoon. I understand more of the practice of it. During the 1:30 hour, I felt more sensible (sensitive?) to all the people in the group. My heart gradually opened , as we were guided through the process, Progressively, I felt them, each individual in the group,  their love and benevolence. I felt the connection, all of us, becoming a collective united with a mutual intent. I believe it was a privilege to get this feeling in the first workshop tha I participated in. It is hard to explain except to say that it was an openess of the heart. Thank you all for being here.

Participantwe connect with others with the desire to bestow in order to connect with the Light. For that we need to correct our ego with the right intention to receive in order to bestow. Also, since all individuals are a part of bigger “organism” called humanity we need to connect to others in order to help restore this one united soul called humanity.
We cannot correct ourselves only by ourselves, we need the other acting as a mirror to help scrutinize and identify what piece of the ego need to be corrected. We can say that the other is correcting us and that each correct the other.

ParticipantMore I listen, more I read, more I participate the more I feel and understand bit by bit, and the more I am motivated to continue . This week, I had the time to participate in this last Saturday group discussion and in Sunday’s “Kabbalah Explained Simply” and the Q&A afterwards. I got some of my questions answered. Just listening to others and sharing provide me with a little preview of the dynamic and benefits of a group workshop.
I got really intrigued when I read in the excerpt “Great Kabbalist’s throughout history ” that: “Before Rashbi ( RABBI SHIMON BAR-YOCHAI ) began to write the Zohar, he established around him a group of disciples, where the soul of each disciple corresponded to a certain spiritual degree in the upper world. There were nine students, and he was the tenth. Together they formed one collective soul, corresponding to the complete structure in the spiritual world called the Eser (ten) Sefirot”
I connected that with notions such as the general vs individual souls, the lines and the circle. I reviewed the notions of the different phases of the creation, the corresponding worlds and the process of the ten sefirot. Every time I understand and feel a little bit more. I devoted a lot of time in the study this week. I am glad I did.
My best to all!
June 26, 2025 at 3:26 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Starting a new course in Kabbalah is similar to a fetus moving on to a new trimester. The warm and fulfilling womb is still the same, but the desire and needs of the future human are evolving. Before we start the first week let’s set our expectations. How do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester? #443621Lorie
ParticipantI want the light to reform to help me change myself, to help me on my path to development, in order to progressively attain the equivalence of form with the Force. More specifically this week, to understand the tools available to me and how to assemble them with the help of a group.

ParticipantMy best experience: I understood more about the right way to pray, the meaning of prayer. Also, as I get more familiar with Kabbalah concepts, language, the elements for development, and so on, I see myself being aware of my feelings and intentions when I am relating to others around me.  I started analyzing my motivations and intentions behind my actions/reactions in order to understand what needs to be corrected. I am looking forward to this course.
