ParticipantThe importance of the group and its dynamic with each individual high and low is what I retain the most. However I have a bit of difficulties to understand partsuf and its two parts, GE and AHP their role and where they are located (inside/outside of me, etc,).

ParticipantHi Giani,
I have difficulties to grasp the notion of “partsuf” and its two parts ‘GE” an “AHP”. The way they are related and so on. Can you direct me to some readings and/or videos?
Thank you much!

ParticipantBy learning with a teacher and reading the books even if we do not always understand some of the teachings with our intellect we get impregnated by the words of wisdom which will inforce our point in the heart.
But mostly by working and studying in group. Since we are mirror of each other’s, confronting our ideas and ego also cooperating because we are united by the desire to grow spiritually, each of us become aware progressively of the traits of their own individual ego that need correction and each individual by developing his point in the heart further contribute to the growth of this point in all the others.

ParticipantAs Judi and Robert shared in different comments I was also astonished tolearn that as we started to engage in the study of Kabbalah our ego inflates when we would rather wish to try to control it in order to bestow.. It seems counter intuitive but in fact it makes sense as we learned since when our desire to receive grows there is more potential to bestow. When I became conscious of that this week , I notice in my attitude  that for a week or two I was feeling more egotistic than usual. I suppose I became simply more aware of my egotistic attitude

ParticipantThank you Gianni!
Even if at the end all is perfect lest hope and work on ourselves together to try to avoid this worst scénario on earth!
May 26, 2025 at 3:28 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #440110Lorie
ParticipantFrom what I learned and understood so far: First, we have to always remember that every intention (and action) affect the whole of humanity, since we are all one. We have to accept that our perception of reality from our egoistic point of view is not reality, only a limited perception. I think that we have to correct our intentions to reach “altruism” . I guess that practicing a sort of “mindful presence” i.e. being attentive of our true intention is a start, it keeps us alert. Also since Kabbalah says that it is difficult even impossible to be certain of the quality of our intention unless we interact with other(s) (if I am not mistaken) then, we have to “confront” our intention with the desire of someone else. .
