Okay, this is where I am struggling to understand things:
If Creation started with “The Thought of Creation”, I assume the Thinker in this context is G_D.
Neuroscientists have shown us that we are not the creator of our own thoughts, because they see brain activity before there is awareness of the thought.
We, creatures, cannot give either, because reception is our substance (will to receive).
So, we are not in control of many things.
When I am reading that understanding Kabbalah depends on our intention? What is INTENTION, and do we have control over that?

MarkParticipantI wish that everyone is able to connect to the upper world.

Our task is to bring our individual piece back to the Light. Is the piece that we have to bring back a unique piece of the puzzle? In other words, do we all have a unique individual purpose in life? And if so, how do we know what that is?
I recently lost my job as a PE-teacher for juvenile delinquents. I loved my job, but unfortunately it came to an end. In the past I also did some development projects in Southern Africa, West Africa and India. Those kind of jobs always gave me a lot of fulfillment, but it were always short term contracts and didn’t pay a whole lot. Later I became an entrepreneur for about 10 years, and although it was financially a successful time of my life, it never gave me the fulfillment of the other jobs.
Now I am very thankful that due to the unemployment situation I am in right now, I am able to spend a lot of time studying the wisdom of Kabbalah. Has our work/profession anything to do with our purpose in life, or is it just a means to get through our time in this world? I am trying to figure out if I should find my purpose in life first before looking for another job, or just go with whatever job is available? Financially I am not in a hurry, and my kids are happy that I am home more often.

I understand that our world is not reality, but why does it have to be soooooo complicated that it takes multiple lifetimes to see/understand the bigger picture? I admire people who can explain complicated things in a simple way (i.e. Kabbalah explained simply), but why did the creator not give us a book called “The purpose of creation for Dummies”? I need that book!

But what about people who don’t have the capacity to study? Will they not be able to connect to the creator?
When has the “Barrier” between our reality and the spiritual world been created? Has that barrier always been there since birth, or did we create a barrier by detaching from the spiritual world?
My experience is that our children have had some kind of connection with the spiritual world since birth. My wife, who is partially deaf, also has some kind of connection with the spiritual world. She, for example, hears 3 knocks on the door/wall when somebody she knows is going to pass away. And more.
And, if possible, what can we as parents do to keep our children connected with the spiritual world?

I guess we get to that in a later stage of this course?
At this point I feel that developing a 6th sense would be like becoming a Super Hero, which comes from the will to receive (egoism).
