I have grown up with the concept of ‘love your neighbour as yourself’, but always felt guilty as I never managed to genuinely feel that I did.
I am very grateful to have found a teaching that acknowledges how difficult this is, and excited to start along the path of learning how to do it!

I’m curious about your answer here. When you say “Just keep in mind that receiving in order to bestow is a very high spiritual degree. It’s not something we can start with in practice right away.” Please could you explain what is meant by a “high spiritual degree”. Also what would be the first steps towards feeling how that sort of bestowal would feel? Would the actual feeling of it be like bestowal in this world? i.e. how the imagined feeling of giving would be. I can understand that actual giving in this world can only be egoic, but maybe the imagined feeling of giving would not be egoic i.e. the feeling of the heart opening?
Thank you

Thank you

Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #55404MarionParticipantTo find my way home

This suggests to me that I have no volition of my own. I can desire it to be other than it is, but that makes no difference to how things are.
But in this lesson the 4th factor suggests that we can change our environment to some extent if it is to expand the point in the heart.
If “There is none else besides Him” and if I am understanding Dr Laitman’s video correctly, then how do I have free will to act on the 4th factor? And who or what is the “I” that would act?
Apologies if this is a confusing question! Thank you for your answers.
