I expect this lesson to be the first of many steps toward becoming a channel for the Infinite Light to enter this physical world, and thereby bless and benefit myself and others. I am attracted to this course of study as a means of systematically gaining a thorough understanding of Kabbalah and its applications.
Hello! I’m Paul. I am a musician. I have also spent a number of years working in adult education. I have had a desire to understand how life “works” since a young age. I have explored many aspects of spirituality for decades, from meditation methods, (including mantra and kriya yoga), ho-opono-pono, hesychastic prayer, as well as tarot and kabbalah. Recently, when a neighbour passed away, his niece, (who was in charge of his estate), told my wife and I that we were welcome to any of his books that we might want, which included a 23-volume English and Aramaic complete translation of the Zohar. While I have enjoyed reading this translation of the Zohar, I have come to feel a need for a basic foundation in the principles of Kabbalah, (the ABC’s of Kabbalah, if you will). So, I have felt led here to begin acquiring that basic background, and fill in the gaps in what I have learned about Kabbalah so far. I am honoured to be studying with you! Thank you!
