I am a bit confused about this sentence from Baal HaSulam in the video: “Video: Inanimate, Vegetative, Animate”.
>> He created creation for His own needs.
In previous lessons, the Creator was described as a force of pure bestowal, always at rest and having No desires. What does “His own needs” mean here?

Can you please talk about the actual intention to study Kabbalah. How do I make sure that I am not doing this for my ego? How do I make sure that the desire to gain spiritual light or being closer to the creator is not an egoistic desire?
Q: What most inspired me in the course?
A: The limited version of reality perceived by our five senses, and the concept of attaining a sixth sense by feeling closeness with the Creator inspired me the most.
Q: What have I learned about myself in the process?
A: I learnt and reflected on how I was treading on the path of pain. I now have a new process of being conscious of how I respond to events in my life with trust and certainty.
Q: What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development?
A: I wish for my fellow students to get to oneness with the Creator, and successfully progress on the path of light.
Course # 1 was an eye opener to the spiritual world of roots. I wish to deepen my spiritual understanding of the 99% world and also connect deeper with my fellow knowledge-seekers.
