I think what blew my mind and offered more clarity than ever before is, how you can take the act of receiving and analyse it in a completely different way to understand that you can also be bestowing through the act of receiving. This has given me a completely new perspective and something to really consider moving forward – thank you!

I understand the concept of needing to correct our desires, but I struggle to understand what ‘acceptable’ desires are (if there are any) and in what way they need to be corrected. For example, I have a desire to have financial wealth (not as much as I used to desire when I was younger) but enough so that I can be free from having to work, be able to live comfortably, travel and help my friends and family financially, if need be.
Would this be considered something that needs to be corrected? I am guessing so, as the quest for it causes me much stress and worry – how do you begin to look at how you correct a desire like that?
Thank you in advance

However, the explanation of being in the box and everything we experience being filtered differently as it enters our immediate surroundings has just been a real ‘light bulb’ moment for me!
May 2, 2022 at 10:20 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #287801SarahParticipantWe want to understand that our current perception of reality is limited by the five senses and that our version of reality is only one of many. I want to understand how to open up to the possibility of perceiving reality in the way that it was intended; to be able to answer the questions that I have held my whole life and to see beyond the ‘four walls’ of my current perception.
