I notice that this section has been quiet for the last few months. I m wondering if others are feeling overwhelmed, as I am? This material is very different from anything I ve done before, and the mind has to re-jig to think in a different way, and then, hopefully to translate that into feeling the world differently, to include a new relationship with the Creator. For starters!
I feel as if it s similar to learning to drive a car – when everything is happening all at once. Only this time, once I can drive a car, there will be learning to drive a plane, & then I suspect, take off in a rocket!
However, I also feel that there is something unique in all of this, and that I m very priviledged to have found my way here. May it all be revealed, in its own good time.

More questions ! In knowing how to receive, I don’t hear mention of gratitude or acknowledgement. Isn’t acknowledgement the recognition of reception, so surely it ought to be part of the exchange with the Creator? or is this just a “lower” step ?
And what about prayer ? I used to be able to pray for what I needed, and now I m confused about this. Is it that if I pray for something, it comes from ego ? Surely some of our needs are real in our physical existence? And would asking delight the Creator, or not?
SarahParticipantFor myself & my fellow students, I wish for the ability to understand and absorb what we have so far learned.
I wish for us to receive the ability to open to the light, and , in time, to make the transition to receiving not just for ourselves, but to give back to the Creator.

So, I m not sure how to do this, in real terms.
For example. today, as I was driving, I just passed under as a big tree branch crashed across the road, & I got some twigs over my windscreen. Should I be seeing this as a delight that I was unharmed & give thanks to the creator? Is it a gift from creator that I was unharmed?
I went for a coffee with a friend, so, is this delight that the creator gave me the opportunity to spend time with a friend ? Should I be viewing the friend as a part of the creator?

What I notice is that the words used to create our desire for connection with the creator, are pleasure and delight.
I m noticing the word “love” is not used, & I m wondering about that.
If we used the word love, then the giving & receiving become easy & automatic. One naturally returns love with those close to us. I m sensing there is a subtle reason for this?
Thanks, Sarah

I n talking about the “bigger picture”, Tony said that while it was (terminally) bad for the many people who died, it was good for the -few- people who rebuilt the resorts.
I have questions.
What happens for the souls of the people who died ? They have lost all chance of spiritual advancement, whereas the resort builders only got material gain. Can you explain this?
Also, how efficient is a natural disaster like this in waking people up? I m guessing you have to be quite advanced to look at it & say ” Gosh, I must wake up”, & in fact, if you said that, you d not need the disaster to do it for you, anyhow?
