I agree with Steve,  I came to KabU via a wonderful course in the Embodied Hebrew letters, and I believe the spiritual power they hold is an essential accompaniment to this work. The way they bring one down from Keter to Malkut, and then back up, had led me to some wonderful AHA moments.  They link into what I m learning here, and to see how the system is so beyond genius that I cannot doubt that they have come from G-d.    Even though that’s SUCH wild thing to contemplate !

In reply to Eberhard, my understanding of the ego is that it is always about “ME”, so I don’t know if that’s its job, and so can never be satisfied. ? .  I would agree, though, that its impossible from here to imagine life lived without it! Where would “I” be then ?  However, this too may change, exciting, eh?

In week two, I’ve started looking at situations & asking myself “I wonder what’s behind that, what caused it? ”

I m noticing that I m questioning how my thoughts/feelings influence small events in my life, & that is present in how I listen to others, too.

I m also noticing that when I’ve tried talking about the Kabbalah to others, how nearly everyone knows best, & I m guessing that its a rare treasure when someone is able to hear & then discuss what comes up. I like to try, as it shows me where I’ve learned something & where I can’t explain is also helpful – that’s what has yet to drop in.

I m also REALLY enjoying Tony’s brilliant , (& thank heavens – funny) videos. It makes so much difference to how the mind responds to what is, after all, not so easy!

    Hi,

In different parts of KabU, I think I ve heard Adam Harishon spoken of both as the original oversoul, and also as a man, 6,000years ago, who first discovered kabbalah.  Can you put correct my understanding, please?
    Thank you

Since the direction of “how I want to” perceive reality will affect the results I get:-

I do not know, right now, how I ll perceive reality once I have begun to open the screen/ to interact with the formlessness of these forces . I kinda guess it ll be brighter & more alive. I kinda guess it ll be exhilarating , fascinating, and fun, like the videos – well, it already is.

Actually, I found my way here by “not knowing “, and then noticing that I had been led, so I m just trusting that the desire is a two way thing, & what I expand into perceiving will, eventually, be the truth.

Something I enjoyed is the change in the photography, giving clues as to what is happening at different levels.

I brings a sort of alertness towards the most significant parts of what Tony is saying.
