It’s beginning to make sense. That’s a relief !
What is new & exciting is to be able to accept, now, that my ego is here to stay, that there is no point in trying to suppress it, and that it s based on the desire to do better than someone else.  I have been witnessing this in myself recently, and noticing that it causes me to be irritable & critical – which of course is noticed and the same is given back to me. Not pleasant for me, or the Other !
Since this is true for everyone, I may as well stop being critical of myself, since I can now see it from a higher perspective. However, I can only change myself, and although we ve been told Others will change around us, so far, I dont know that, and feel ambiguous and curious as to how I will see others from now on.
So, it seems, my friends, that we are being prepared to begin the group of 10, where we will have a LAB, a place where all this will begin to be recognized consciously. I am guessing that my ego will find it very challenging ! I just hope the point in the heat is strong & will prevail !

I love this, its so exciting to be able to discuss it with you – my deep gratitude for such a gift !
I think you are saying that this is a game above reason, then ?
That the voice of my ego is not going away any time soon, & I have to deal with it. By an act of choice, & with the support of my group of 10, we will be discovering the results of our behaviours – & that to do so is the work of Kabbalah, which is essentially experiential in nature. ?.
Is that right? Thank you !

So, you also answered my questions in lesson 1 forum. This is really helpful because it shows me that I can make a shift towards people who share this, the basic understanding s of the kabbalah:- that makes me feel better about leaving behind people who have no awareness and therefore cannot, CANNOT understand & appreciate our efforts to bestow.
This simplifies it and frees me up to allow some changes, without feeling guilty about making them. I’m imagining that we should still do charity as before, though?
Just as an aside & to share something that has been a great pointer for me, friends, is the work of Marshall Rosenburg, who began a way of working , called “Non-Violent-Communication”, which I m sure he can only have got from the Kabbalah. All the languaging makes so much more sense, has its full depth, from the kabbalistic perspective,

I ve only just done the introduction, but – I m confused as to what BESTOWAL really means.
For example, I live near Glastonbury, Uk, where there is a cafe where you can “Pay it forward”, That means I can pay for a cup of tea, or a meal, for one of the towns many homeless people. It gives me pleasure to help someone out anonymously. But for bestowal, does this mean I m not doing it FOR to the street person, but doing it to give G-d pleasure ?
WHY would this please G-d, what is the root cause of His pleasure? Is He pleased because someone in need is being helped, or because I am thinking of Him ?  Can I be sure I m not just doing it so He will be pleased with me – because isnt that still self-centred?

I m full of doubts & questions. I looked up the word BESTOW in Chamber’s Dictionary, and it means to “give or confer a reward or distinction”, in archaic terms, which leaves it a bit unclear.
Are we being asked to be good & kind to others to please G-d, and to be “like ” Him because of this?
Is this the same as the Mitzvot in Judaism, or is there a subtle Kabbalistic difference?I m not 100% convinced that I can, or that I ve got the motivation to do it, so am reliant on “science” that will prove it to me, or the light which will affect me because of my efforts. Its a very big ask if we are being brutally honest, & I m surprised that no-one else seems to mention this problem. Anyone out there ?
