There was a group that reached this degree at Mt. Sinai after exiting from Egypt.  They subsequently fell from that degree, but the reshimot (records/remembrances) remain in them. This is why some people today are more disposed to this, more prepared for this. We should remember that those people of Israel went into a 2000 year exile when the Second Temple was destroyed 2000 years ago and those sparks mingled all among the nations and now those sparks that were spread to the four corners of the world are awakening.Whoever this desire awakens in our time is called Jew according to how we learn from the kabbalists. These people must connect together and draw light into the world and raise all of humanity.
To be like the Creator is to do something for others with no self benefit which is impossible since we are created as a desire that must receive. To correct this, we receive as we must to fulfill the Creator’s desire to give to us, but we receive, only because He wants to give, not because our egos want to receive.

It took 10 billion years until our home planet formed and became a suitable place for something to take place that would later become life. It took billions more until plants evolved and even more until animals and our ancestors climbed down from trees a few hundred thousand years ago, so it’s no a suprise that all humanity hasn’t awakened to higher desires yet.
Everything is speeding up, the distance between inanimate to vegetative was billions of years. From a prehistoric man until us is only a few hundred thousand, everything is in our hands, if we unite and draw the light sufficiently we’ll draw all humanity with us much more quickly.

We cannot simply justify this behavior, but we need to understand what is happening.
We saw that even Nazism was not a German phenomenon. The German people are very wise people and have a distinguished culture, however the human is a malleable creature and even people with good tendencies can be brain washed to do bad through daily sermons and education.
That is with civilized, good people.
We also have depraved people like the one you are describing who certainly was neglected as a child, didn’t have a good upbringing or education or he has serious psychological problems.
This same person raised by loving parents in an environment that teaches a person who he is, what forces work in him and how to work with what awakens in him, this same person could use all his qualities for the good.
In the future we will understand why everything happened the way it did, until then we try to calibrate ourselves more and more towards the force of Love.

Until now, all of our senses developed naturally and the sixth sense also develops naturally, but whereas until now, we didn’t need to do anything for our senses to develop, our sixth sense, while it comes naturally, it requires our participation in our development from the animal state (biological human) to the human state (spiritual).
The two main tools we use for this are the spiritual environment in which we develop our heart and minds towards loving others and the books of the kabbalists from which we draw the lights upon us that surround our souls.

Imagine that you wake up in the morning and you can live your day like a normal day, or somehow that path to merge in infinite bliss with the Creator appeared before you and you can choose that.
So of course, we would all choose infinite bliss. So there is our first problem. If that was the case, we would have no free will, in an instant we would be absorbed in that ball of light and fulfillment and we would never choose anything else.
So what to do in order for us to appreciate the Creator and to choose Him, not just to fill our belly and escape suffering, but to choose Him out of Love?
So a concealment is made upon us where we don’t feel Him and from here, we can now develop to be equal with Him and feel everything and be with Him together, not as a small creature running from pain, but as an equal who knows and understands everything and feels everything He does.
