These are good discernments that you are making.
Let’s be clear that there is no “humans” yet in Behinate Dalet (phase 4).
This is the primordial, archetypal structure of creation.
We have to place ourselves in the correct context in order to understand these things. For example a woman who is prior to being a mom is a woman, with all the qualities of a woman, some are dormant, and some are active, but she is still a woman, a woman after becoming a mom is the same person, but she is also a different person. So let’s see where Behina Dalet is.
The Creator wants to fill creation with endless delight, in order to do that, He created a vessel that not only will receive that light, but that will yearn and crave for that light, as the more we desire something, the more pleasure we get from it.
In this world, the action can look opposite from the intention. I can for example give a gift to someone that I really hate in my heart.
In spirituality, the thought is the action.
Behina Dalet wants to attain the quality of the Creator, as He is a bestower, so the creation wants to be a bestower.
To be independant, well if we feel the Light, the endless pleasure filling us, then we feel complete, whole, and we wouldn’t move. We only move in order to fulfill ourselves. If we felt all of the Light, we would have no free will, just to do whatever we can to receive that Light.
In order to feel ourselves and to feel who is the Creator and to feel that He is good and doing good, we go through a process of being made opposite to Him and from there we can slowly slowly build a perception of what is the Light, what is He.

The Creator is dressed in all of reality and if it is helpful for you to sit in silence, so you should do it.
If you are learning the materials here from lesson to lesson and investing effort into them, then you’ll already start to calibrate your inner life to the reality that the Kabbalists describe.
We don’t have any vessels to feel the Creator Himself, we currently have the body’s vessels of perception. But through learning and feeling the nature of the matter that the Creator created and seeing and feeling how reality is operating according to the structures that the Kabbalists depict, we begin to come closer to those  qualities of the Creator.

We are learning about attainment. Just as you know when you are holding ice in your hand or a warm cup of tea in your hand, in the same way, you will feel spirituality as something that you feel.

During the study you will start to feel which of your desires are inanimate, vegetative and animate desires. Regarding these, they are not praised nor condemned. No one praises a hippo for eating dinner or a bee for making a hive and no one criticizes a lion for eating a zebra.
Similarly, we each have a level of necessity, maybe for you it is a three bedroom house with a pool or maybe it is a small apartment, this is according to each one. We work, we have family, we take care of our health and behave like a normal person. These are our inanimate, vegetative and animate degrees of desires and these are not praised nor condemend.
Later after learning the fundamentals you will have the opportunity to work in a practical way with others in the spiritual work.
In the meantime don’t go trying to love someone  with all of your heart, all of your soul and all of your might if they are not playing the same game as you, learning what you are learning. That is a recipe for problems.

The Kabbalists attained spiritual degrees and wrote to us about it. Â From their attainment they describe what they perceive their with their spiritual vessels of perception. From that height they describe light of fulfillment that shines in order to fill all of creation with endless fulfillment.To calibrate ourselves to that light, we call that a meaningful life.
