When does the next Young Group start? I was told “soon” when I joined the Graduate Environment 2 months ago. I’d like to know if there is a date planned, or if there isn’t to have a more realistic sense of when it will. I’m also based in New Zealand, and I’m concerned that if the next Young Group starts in 2 months, that I might find it’s not at a time that could work for me, and I’ll have to wait another X months for the next one.

    Thanks Jim!

Where do you find out several hours before the daily lesson? Is there a reading you do beforehand to prepare?

I’m in the Grad Class and notice the instructor seems to be reviewing literature and students questions about it, which makes me think it’s an assigned reading. Is that the case for this session?

I was originally drawn to Kabbalah about a year ago because I had heard it described as the study of the “spiritual process of creation”. I was experimenting with my own creative practice at the time, specifically seeking inspiration and ideas for how to open myself to be a channel for creation that originates outside myself, and simply comes through me. My studies initially didn’t directly address my initial inquiry, and instead gave me a broader framework for moving through the world, which I have deeply appreciated. Seeing this course, I’m reminded of my older desire, and want to learn in more technical detail the blueprint of creation, movement through the worlds, the detailed meanings and workings of each of the sefirot, in hopes of finding more direct inspiration at how I might create in the world. I’m hoping this course provides some of that.

    Hello!

I’m new to the Graduate Environment and am still orienting and re-adjusting my daily rituals to it. When I was doing the KabU courses, I would spend 30 minutes on the next part of whatever course I was on, either reading or listening to videos, and then reflect. The courses always gave me a “next thing to read”. Does the Graduate Environment have something similar? For example, are there weekly readings associated with the Graduate Class, Weekly Light, or Sunday Meeting that I could use in my daily study? If not, I’m wondering if someone has a suggestion for what could be in my reading queue, given I just finished the course sequence ending in Kabbalah Experience.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

I’ve just joined the Graduate Environment. My biggest motivation was to join a group to practice with regularly, but I can’t find any information about it. I had imagined working with the group could be a weekly practice with the same 10 people that’s a practicum for more deeply experiencing the wisdom in a felt sense. Does this type of group exist? I’m wondering if I misunderstood how “the group” is actually used, if it is used with a weekly rhythm, or happens much differently than I’m imagining?

Any direction and guidance is greatly appreciated 🙂
