Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #450479
Victoria TeasdaleParticipantI expect that coming out of this experience I will have a drastically different view on life and have had major shifts in how I approach living it. I expect I will continue to see shifts in life areas ‘seemingly’ unrelated to spirituality. I expect to realise that the work I do here and in correcting myself is not for my benefit but for those around me. It is my hope that this course continues to answer the burning questions I’ve had for so many years. I expect it will.

Victoria TeasdaleParticipantIn mainstream advice we are constantly warned against giving from an empty well. I see now how, because we are aligned with the creator that our well is never empty.
As a parent who is now seeing the effects of years of being out of contact with the creator, I am finding parenting both more joyful but also challenging. My learning here has thrown into light how I need to become a better guide for my children, and how that will be against mainstream ways. I am confident in my ability to navigate this thanks to this course.
My question is: When children are learning but are still acting from the will to receive, how do we ensure that our will to bestow and love our neighbour isn’t fuelling their ego? Is it that if we see a genuine need then we should aim to fulfil that need but if the need is actually a ‘want’ driven by ego then we should then shift to counsel?

Victoria TeasdaleParticipantFrom being a young girl I couldn’t understand why society was set up in the way it was. It seemed counter intuitive. That a community should come together as one to provide for its whole. Growing older and seeing this concept reflected in some cultures that haven’t adopted modern ways.
Suddenly having the revelation that, when in a community of corrected beings operating outside of ego then this is exactly what is achieved.

Victoria TeasdaleParticipantSorry, I tried to edit to add but couldn’t. Also:
Is the general state of the soul of Adam Harishon related to the soul of individual man? (apologies if my words are incorrect). So the greater the distance between Adam and the creator, the grater the perceived distance between an individual and the creator. As the collective soul of humanity is uplifted the suffering on the individual level will be less?

Victoria TeasdaleParticipantThank you for this course. Deep down I knew there was a way of looking at all sciences that would make them make sense.
My question is this. Some religions and movements have popularised the idea of ‘lesser’ beings, angels, demons etc. Am I right in thinking then that ‘there is none else besides him’ would mean that these are not a thing in spiritual reality? That the things we call demons are actually a part personification of internal psychological processes? And that people in the times of old scripture didn’t have the language to describe these things so used a kind of allegory?
Or is it a little more complicated than that but for now just trust it will be revealed in time?
Victoria TeasdaleParticipantHi everyone, I’m Victoria from the UK and I’m happy to meet you all here.
