The act of giving has always vexed me. On one hand, I receive immense joy in giving, in supporting, in validating others, but on the other hand, I do it for the pleasure, not for others. Does this feeling negate my bestowal? I asked this of my doctor. She said that all people give to receive pleasure. That is the nature of giving. Is this true? When I give, I do not expect a valid response from the receiver. Their response is their issue. I care about their welfare, but some people worry about being scammed. My stance is that I gave where I saw a need. The motivation of the receiver is on them. Is this okay?

Prayer is just a meditation, a recognition of my process. I do not understand, but I have always been given what I need. My daughter calls this “random” money. But, in actuality, I worked and learned to earn what I get. I must evolve and grow, and even strive to evolve. I must use energy to evolve. I must know its value. The Creator, the Energy of Creation, needs to explore itself through its creation. This is a mystery to me. But, I understand loneliness. My question, can I help the Creator to experience things the Creator needs. This sounds very self-centered. But if our purpose to to become one with the Creator, do not we have a responsibility to respond? How can we achieve out purpose?

Creation including man is a manifestation of a Creator. My looking at Archetypes in the forms of ancient deities is an attempt to understand the facets of the One. Unless you study creation, knowing the One is difficult. Developing the concept of love is my purpose. I know I will probably need several more incarnations before I am ready to ascend to a higher level of being. I know that is okay. Life, lives, are a process. I trust the process and engage in it however I think I can. I may need correction, but I know the path.

I wanted to gain knowledge from a source not an interpretation. Question: Should I take a class in Hebrew? I notice that you place importance in the name of things. I do not want to miss out. My adopted brother is Jewish, I could ask him to introduce me to his Rabbi. What would recommend?
WendyParticipantI am Wendy from Southern California. I am 64 years old and have traveled many spiritual paths. I have found a measure of truth in all of them. I am a retired school teacher and Registered Critical Care Nurse. My ideas about the nature of reality and what I need to do in order to become one with the One, the Creator (neither male nor female) have changed over time. I am a witch who does not do spells to satisfy any need. I receive what I need without magick. I am a witch because it gives me the freedom to explore what my life means, and how I can be connected to all of nature, and how to give without the curtain of a particular religion. Truth comes in many forms. A creator wants to be known. I will travel this path to perfect my soul, and be a force of good to give to others. I am open to learning. I have no need to defend a position.
