Hi, my name is Zori. I started my spiritual journey almost a year ago now. After trying so many different things, learning about Kabbalah has been the only thing that works for me. From this course, I really want to be able to find more answers about how to attain the soul in this lifetime, so that I don’t have to show up here again 😉

Realizing that I am not broken or hopeless because nothing I loved to do was bringing me joy anymore. I learned that there is nothing wrong with me, and that that void just needs be filled with spirituality.

What most inspired me in the course?

I was most inspired by the Dr. Quantum Visits Flat Land clip that Gil shared with us. It really put into perspective to me that I was once very much like that little blue Pac-Man-shaped character, and I just want to know I’ll be okay in the very next moment, but I’m also so enamored by the possibility of there being more dimensions.

What have I learned about myself in the process?

I have learned that I will never perceive outside of my own “programming”/unique 5 senses, and that these perceptions are completely different for everyone.

What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development?

When you get discouraged, try again anyway. Always come back to the text or lean on and nurture a positive connection/relationship in your life. I know when I received the reply from one of the Senior Instructors on these message boards, that those with mental illness should not study Kabbalah without essentially clearing it with their psychiatrist first, I felt extremely discouraged. But I am here, reflecting, and have decided that overall, it doesn’t truly matter what anyone else says about me studying Kabbalah as a Bipolar (medicated, thankfully) young and educated woman, because no one else can feel the creator in the exact same way that I can now, which I never even knew was possible until studying Kabbalah; and ultimately that’s all that matters to me. And that’s all that should matter to you.

    Good morning,

I am curious if anything at all is ever hidden from the creator? More specifically, does he already know if we will choose to return to him willingly or unwillingly?

By gradually changing our will to receive to a will to bestow.

One can begin doing this simply to appease the creator at first, until they become more and more like him, and before they know it, they crave to do so more and more. It can work in this way until the instinct to do so and enjoy it becomes completely natural.

Also – by trying to identify with the creator’s intention or thought of creation, we can help others achieve their purpose of creation, which is to create a creature and fill it with unbounded delight. The creator appreciates even just doing this alone.

How do you know if you’ve penetrated the initial barrier into the spiritual world? What are the tell-tale signs of doing so?
