Does it mean the more I read Kabbalah text and connect to live classes with fellow students make the light to work on us and correct us?
What about how in future semester will operate in groups? Just interested knowAt what point will we be able to work in groups online? There are no Kabbalists in my area. I’ll have to travel over 220 miles to reach others in person
I have spent years rising very early with a specific routine of feeding my cat, lighting, my stove, making coffee, and sitting down to read, psalms, Bible readings, prayers, and some specific cabala material, and then sitting down to journal for 30 to 45 minutes before anyone gets up, in an effort to find an encounter with the Father. Sometimes, I write pages of thoughtful prayers and requests and observations. Sometimes, I ask God if he’s even there or if he cares. Lately more and more, I’ve wondered if I’m boring God, since I haven’t been inspired to find any other psalms or prayers and the ones that I’ve been using for a long time. I even tried adding some guitar songs, to no avail. Is my sense of pointlessness a sign that I may actually be moving forward? I put this question to a parish priest, and he told me that mother Theresa once went for 10 years without hearing anything from the Lord.

Coming closer to the Creator works according to the law of equivalence of form. Meaning that to the extent that we become similar to Him, to His qualities of love and bestowal, to that extent we come closer to him, and reveal Him in practice. This is just like how a radio can pick up an external wave, when we tune the internal frequency of the radio to that wave.
But practicing love and bestowal is not something I can do in isolation, rather I need to have someone with whom I can practice these things. And I can’t practice this with just anyone, as that would violate the rule of “there is no coercion in spirituality”. I need to practice it with others that have the same goal and are aspiring towards that goal on a regular basis. In other words, I need to practice this in a Kabbalistic group.
We’ll learn how to do this practically in the advanced semesters of KabU where everyone will get their own virtual Kabbalah group to practice with.

Yes. In general we’re usually either immersed in corporeality and forget about spirituality completely or we wake up a little from that state and realize that there is something called spirituality but that it’s concealed from us. That’s one of the first three states.
Revelation already depends on our connection with other points in the heart. If we build the right connection with them, then in that connection we’ll reveal spirituality.
It’s like each one of us is just a point, and that point is incapable of sensing spirituality. But if we connect those points together, it becomes like a net with which we can catch something. In that network between us is where we reveal spirituality. We’ll learn how to do this practically in the more advanced semesters.

Is helping someone financially toward medical bills considered a bestowment? Is it part of climbing up the ladder of correction? Help is spontaneous with no attachments. I do not want that person to suffer.
Hi Mira,
Bestowal is the Creator’s nature. While our nature is that of pure reception. So it’s impossible for us to truly bestow. At best we can perform more and more covert actions of reception.
For example, I go to the store and I give them my money, but obviously I want something in return. It’s the same with all of our actions of bestowal in corporeality. Either I do it to receive pleasure directly or indirectly from fame, honor, money, or even the pride of knowing that no one knows about this action, or even avoiding pain or guilt is also part of this same calculation.
So real bestowal, above any calculations for receiving for oneself, does not exist in our world. Real bestowal is purely the Creator’s quality. If we want to acquire such a quality, we first need to correct our nature. This is done by the force of the light we evoke through the Kabbalistic studies. This light begins to work on us, even if we don’t have the true desire to bestow. Even if we’re just like little kids, pretending to be spiritual grown ups. It takes this aspiration of ours and corrects it little by little, building in us a true desire for spirituality, for the spiritual qualities of love and bestowal.

Each one of us perceives reality differently. So when two people are looking at a same event, let’s say minor car accident. Will each person have a different view, perspective and recall of the same accident?
