        Google translation of the question:

What is true about the hypothesis that beings, as they advance in their spiritual development and, correlatively, in their successive reincarnations, also advance from inanimate life to the most advanced levels of life until they are reincarnated as human beings? What does the wisdom of Kabbalah say about this?

¿El grupo del entorno apropiado debe estar conformado exclusivamente por estudiantes de Kabbalah o puede ser una confraternidad de espiritualidad de otra índole, como por ejemplo, grupos de apoyo terapéutico o de crecimiento personal?

        Google translation of the question:

Should the appropriate environment group be comprised exclusively of Kabbalah students, or can it be a fellowship of other spirituality, such as therapeutic support or personal growth groups?

        Hi Enrique,

Regardless of which path a person chooses for himself, whether here or in another place, it’s highly discouraged to mix methods. If we want to succeed in Kabbalah (or in any spiritual practice really) we should practice it without mixing other things into it. Otherwise it’s like following two different GPS systems. One leads you to the goal through the west highway, while the other through the east highway. If we follow both, we’ll just wind up going in circles.

I have been wrestling with the concept of desire to bestow, and I think perhaps it is a language issue. I have had spiritual experiences, as I imagine everyone in this class has, and during the times that I feel most connected with the Creator, what I feel is a sense of emanation. I am emanating something – kindness, good will, some sort of desire for the good of everyone and anyone  – but I never thought of it as “bestowal.” So are we talking about the same thing here, or am I totally off-track?

My uneasiness about connecting to a group of ten has been removed through this teaching, thank you. I would like to know how when and how I will become apart of a group of ten.

        Hi Lori,

In the advanced semester on KabU everyone will receive their own ten and learn how to do spiritual work in the ten.

We learned about the four levels of existence and the pyramid structure, culminating in the speaking level, which represents a state of altruism and interconnection. Could you clarify how we can move from the lower spiritual levels (such as spiritual vegetative or animate) to the speaking level in spirituality? What are practical steps we can take to progress along these levels?

      • #398967

        Hi Natu,

First we focus only on connecting with a small group, called a ten. Later on, after we reach a certain degree of connection there, we expand that connection to include other tens. And after we master that, we expand it further and further until we’re able to connect with the whole world.

We’ll implement these things practically in the advanced semester.

We explored the concept of ‘love your friend as yourself’ as essential for spiritual attainment. Could you explain how cultivating this love within a group actually leads to greater connection with the Creator and supports one’s progress on the spiritual path?

      • #398964

        Hi Natu,

Reaching the Creator works on the law of equivalence of form. Meaning that if we want to reach him, we need to become similar to Him, to His qualities of love and bestowal.

How can I practice this type of love and bestowal? Can I just try to love the Creator?

The Creator is concealed, so it’s impossible to love Him directly. Instead, we need to work with what is in front of us, which is the group. So by loving the friends in the group, we become similar to Him, and by becoming similar to Him, we reveal Him in practice.

Check out this blog post from Rav Laitman for more details: https://laitman.com/2013/04/everything-is-attained-by-the-equivalence-of-form/
