GyörgyParticipantIs it correct to say that beings at the human level can be divided into speaking animals and speaking humans?
- November 30, 2025 at 9:13 am EST #467981
Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi György,
Yes, you can say that.
There are 4 levels in nature: still, vegetative, animate, and speaking (human). Within each level, there are 4 sub levels: the still of the still, the vegetative of the still, the animate of the still, the speaking of the still, etc. Humanity as a whole is currently found on the speaking sub-degree of the animate level. Meaning we have not yet reached the true speaking degree, which is a spiritual degree.

AguinaldoParticipantI am studying Kabbalah online from Angola. How can I find a study group? When you refer to ‘group study,’ does that include online groups as well?
- November 24, 2025 at 5:38 pm EST #467585
Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Aguinaldo,
Yes, online groups as well. In the advanced semesters of KabU, everyone will be placed in an online KabU Kabbalah group.

BenParticipantThis totally explains why my life has been what my life has been.
I was born in either a state of “Correction” or “1st Revelation.”
Currently I am in a state of “1st Revelation.”
My entire life I’ve had an insatiable passion for learning about spirituality.
I’ve not only studied the Old and New Testaments. I’ve studied the Deuterocanonical and Apocrypha scriptures, the Koran, Bhagavad-Gita, Bhagavatam, Surangama Sutra, and a plethora of Buddhist and Hindu scriptures.
I’ve studied with Hindu Gurus, Buddhist masters, Islamic Imans, Native American Shaman, and various Jewish and Christian scholars.
My cultural Jewish upbringing was painful: I thought my family was crazy to believe what they believed. Even worse, most of my family didn’t believe in the Torah or had any relationship with their creator. All they did was go through the motions and followed the cultural celebrations.
I could never understand how a person could live without conscious contact with their creator.
I don’t know what shocked my family more: my belief that Jesus was the Jew’s Messiah or that I began to study and identify with Hinduism and Buddhism. I was even a Buddhist teacher for many years.
But I knew that even Hinduism and Buddhism were off in some ways. They never explained the intention of the creator. They had a system of causality and manifestation but lacked intention and perspective. They taught the relationship of attachment and desire to pain and suffering. But they were still missing something. They gave me a bit of truth and wisdom but left me always wanting.
You can only imagine the heated spiritual debates I would get into with my Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim friends when they would insist that God was angry, vengeful, wrathful, punishing, and jealous. When my God was always like a loving parent who was guiding, teaching, and protecting me.
As soon as I started to study Kabbalah I felt like I was home. I found other people who believed in what I believed. I was given the missing pieces of the puzzle. Finally: it all made sense. Finally I could have pride in my Jewish roots.
Can you imagine my relief?
Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel for the gift of Kab U and for finally having a group of people with whom I can truly relate to, study with, and grow with.

Abbaa Naa’olParticipantMy role in the process for everyone to have equivalence of form with the Creator is to contribute to this transformation… to support every person on the planet in doing the same

ParticipantI started Kabbalah courses recently. I am fascinated by method that week after week help us understand who we are and guides us in our daily actions. Our relationship with what surrounds us but also our relationship with others. Step by step we understand the meaning of life, the correction of our intentions to get closer to the creator. As well as the need to belong to a group to achieve the final goal. Should we understand that correction of our intention is a phase of preparation for work in a group or a step in inner transformation ?

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Guy,
The first one. This is because we’re all part of a single system, like cells within a single body. Correcting myself means that I fix my connection with others in that body. So the focus is less about me, digging within myself, transforming myself and more about my connection with others and how to properly connect back into a single body.
It’s like we’re trying to solve a 8 billion piece jigsaw puzzle, where each person is one piece of that puzzle. Each piece of the puzzle (each person) is perfect by itself and does not require any correction. Meaning that we don’t need to recolor any of the pieces or cut off any seemingly excess parts. The only thing we need to do is find where each piece fits relative to all the other pieces. And by that we correct everything.

Andrew LawsonParticipantI am looking forward to finding a group to continue this journey in Kabbalah.
I am lucky that I have friends in my local community that are all seeking a spiritual path. I can see how we all influence our development towards the Creator and without them I may not have come as far as I am today.
There is still a ways to go in my journey and so if I have the opportunity to grow the environmental within KabU to spur this passage on in myself and others I will be grateful.
However, do I need to by weary of influences of others not seeking the Creator in a Kabbalah tradition?
I feel like my lessons have the ability to influence those around me, therefore naturally others will influence me. But perhaps there is a place were I can find the Creators intention in the journey of each person near me and either be influenced or not if I choose?

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Andrew,
Generally if we keep our relationships with others on the level of family or work, then there is not much to worry about. We could and should maintain those relationships in the normal way.
Whereas the relationships we have around the spiritual goal, we should be weary of those connections. Those relationships can indeed influence our spiritual development, even subconsciously, and corrupt our intention to bestow, making us completely deviate from the path.
