Is spiritual food, drink, sex more pleasurable than worldly food, drink and sex?
- December 14, 2022 at 1:32 pm EST #306615Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
<p style=”text-align: left;”>It’s written that all the pleasures in this world are but a fraction of a percent of the pleasures that exist in bestowal. In spirituality the pleasure is not described using the words of this world, but according to the quality discerned of the light that enters the vessel.

Regarding corporeal matters should we go above reason too?
- December 14, 2022 at 1:16 pm EST #306613Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
Above reason is not a concept a person should attempt to apply to their corporeal life, but only to the work with the friends and the Creator.

Is it better to believe that I am nice, capable, fine etc or be humble and think that I’m ugly, bad, undeserving etc?
- December 14, 2022 at 1:14 pm EST #306612Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
A person goes through various states where they feel this way or that way. What is important is not the state so much, but how a person aims to progress to the next one. Both states can bring a person closer to bestowal.

<p style=”text-align: right;”>Is the Creator Him or Her..?

- December 14, 2022 at 1:07 pm EST #306611Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Hi Mrc,
In spirituality, bestowal is masculine and reception is feminine, so we refer to the Creator as Him since we are speaking of the force of bestowal.

dear KabU team – I have a question or more perhaps a thought.
I know you say Jesus was not a Kabbalist, and of course I accept that answer.
But,
I very much would appreciate if you could open up that answer. When I read
the Evangelists in New Testament – I often think – Jesus is/was a kabbalist – or
he knew the teaching and made his “own version”, or something similar.Thank you for your work and will to share!

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Hi Sofie,

This method is based solely on the teachings of the Rabash, Baal HaSulam, and the Ari. These Kabbalists and others make reference to the lineage of Kabbalists who came before them. Jesus is not mentioned and so we do not relate to Him in our teaching.Joseph – KabU

should we feel and think we are lowly or stay positive have self esteem and happy?

Our direction should always only be one….towards greater connection between us.
This of course goes with the 30 minutes a day BHS writes about which is also necessary but it’s used more as a guide for if I was able to successfully aim myself towards greater bestowal than “yesterday”.
