Is it better to intend Godly but full of error or be natural but true.

Hey mrc,
Interesting question.
We’ll always find reveal an extra layer of our ego each time we think we’ve done something for His sake, but this is just the path. This is how we continuously have work. These are infinite opportunities. One the one hand we are coming closer and on the other hand farther away. Both are true at the same time. One who’s greater than his friend, his evil inclination is greater. Meaning, one who has the ability to bestow more, also has a greater ego.

Hi!
I got the invitation to take the free course and, as I’ve already became a member, I don’t know if I should continue with it or do something else, as I understand you teach a methodology from kindergarten on, right? So… if this course kindergarten 1, which is where I need to start? Do I have to watch all the videos of the “Preparation Materials” before getting to Week 1?
Thanks! 🙂

Hi Maria,
Yeah we’ve worked pretty hard over many years to try and put all of the necessary steps together for beginners to easily digest. That means we set it up for a person to take the necessary beginning steps without being able to jump ahead and start confusing themselves. You’ll “unlock” all the material once you’ve gone through the prerequisites! 🙂
But also, you can you jump around different content and different courses for different flavors of content.
Thanks!

“justify the creator” what is that mean?
- December 10, 2022 at 3:33 pm EST #306285Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
Hey chekolog,
If there’s is one single force acting in all of reality, none else besides Him that is Good that does good, and if I feel or see something or someone causing harm this indicates I am disconnected from that perception of “Good that does good”, or in others words I don’t justify that the Creator is Good that does good.
Thanks!
Chris

Is the path of Kabbalah descending first then ascend.?
- December 10, 2022 at 3:46 pm EST #306292Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
You can say we’ve already “descended” from our connection as one soul and our “ascension” is putting those shattered pieces back together.
On the other hand, you may hear about “falling in order to rise” which are a person’s personal states and growth of climbing up the ladder. In truth, there’s no “descents” as in a person going back down, rather, it’s always being lifted “up” into the next degree which is just an addition of ego which needs to be corrected.

Is the Creators desire to give equal to the creatures desire to receive or more?

It’s precisely proportionate.

We should judge others favorably but what about ourselves should we go above reason or honest sometimes critic ourselves? Thx

Our nature is to criticize others, and if we criticize ourselves it’s also for some potential gain for the ego.
Baal HaSulam writes in Shamati that we should spend 23.5 hours in the direction of doing good to others/the Creator and half an hour a day criticizing ourselves.
But honestly, when we are in these scrutinies, it’s usually back and forth. One action towards the outside which then sheds light on my actual intention for myself.
