Is the path of Kabbalah descending first then ascend.?
- December 10, 2022 at 3:46 pm EST #306292Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
You can say we’ve already “descended” from our connection as one soul and our “ascension” is putting those shattered pieces back together.
On the other hand, you may hear about “falling in order to rise” which are a person’s personal states and growth of climbing up the ladder. In truth, there’s no “descents” as in a person going back down, rather, it’s always being lifted “up” into the next degree which is just an addition of ego which needs to be corrected.

Is the Creators desire to give equal to the creatures desire to receive or more?
- December 10, 2022 at 2:20 pm EST #306282Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
It’s precisely proportionate.

We should judge others favorably but what about ourselves should we go above reason or honest sometimes critic ourselves? Thx

Our nature is to criticize others, and if we criticize ourselves it’s also for some potential gain for the ego.
Baal HaSulam writes in Shamati that we should spend 23.5 hours in the direction of doing good to others/the Creator and half an hour a day criticizing ourselves.
But honestly, when we are in these scrutinies, it’s usually back and forth. One action towards the outside which then sheds light on my actual intention for myself.

Which is more stronger esau or jacob, the will to receive or the will to bestow?
- December 10, 2022 at 2:11 pm EST #306277Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
The force that created us, the will to bestow, will always be above the force of reception until Gmar HaTikkun, which even then, whichever force begets another, you could say will always be above it since it’s eternally a consequence of that “parent” force.
Thanks!

What is being humble have to do with not showing love to others?
- December 1, 2022 at 5:51 pm EST #305475Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
This is a big topic but it’s a quality of the Creator here that we want to be similar to. It’s not the same humble you’re thinking of now.

Is it to the friends only to show love or to family and loved ones?
- December 1, 2022 at 5:48 pm EST #305474Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
Also depends on the environment here, which setting you are in.
If you are with the friends you study Kabblah with, you should always only show love.
Family and friends…I’m not sure? Seems like that would be the same answer, but the love there would just mean to make everyone feel good in their ego, where if you are with friends who want to reveal that it’s the Creator’s love we use to bind us together and discovering that reveals that we are all one and there cannot be any other attitude towards one another, a binding force of love that flows between us.
Those are two different connections.
Eventually this will be the entire world united under this blanket of love.
Thanks!
