Is studying kabbalah makes you more happy or not..?

Nothing and nobody can “make you” anything. It is a tool. Metaphor: a hammer. You take a hammer and build a house. You take the same hammer and hit a person over the head. I mean no judgment here at all – like building a house for somebody else, as a slave; like hitting a person for saving another. Does the hammer make you happy?

When used with the intention to serve your “best interest”, that is the best interest of the whole brotherhood, and with all your might (heart), the kabbalah is a very powerful took.

        Mrc,

A person who studies the wisdom of Kabbalah begins to experience a wide array of emotions and perceptions. It’s true that the correct implementation of the wisdom brings a person to the understanding and the reason for the lack of fulfillment in life, and teaches one how it is possible to attain true lasting happiness. But this is a process, and a person must learn how to stabilize the correct intention to the method within their heart.

So the element that exist from timeless before to eternity is Light..?

The “light” does not the physical light your/our eyes see. Does not mean the whole spectrum of light our sciences have defined so far. The “light” (of Ein Sof) is so much more, our words are limited: is the substance of life … the substance of Love … the infinity … and all fall short. Remember, a word is a metaphor at least twice removed from the original meaning. In kabbalah regular words (those Hebrew hieroglyphs  – to me) received a specific definition, a language onto itself.

        Mrc,

It’s written that besides the created being, there is only the upper light. The only two elements in creation are the light and kli (vessel). The light is what we perceive as the influence from the Creator, and the kli is what we build together in the connection between us. Once we acquire the necessary kli, we can begin to receive the light from the Creator.

Why not the Creator created man equal in righteousness like everybody have the same quantity of pleasure but it’s okay to be different in forms..?

That initial form was like a robot. Through the process of … seaming to be living in this world, the robot acquires ‘consciousness’ and chooses for him/herself to be like the Creator for the sake of being with Him/Her, becomes … human. The Creator thinks only of GIVING, it never crossed His/Her mind TO TAKE.

      • #288215

        Mrc,

The Kabbalists explain that the state of creation in it’s initial phase was one of equivalence of form with the Creator; however, in order for the created being to attain true independence and realize it’s freedom, this state was shattered until the sparks of this one common soul, called Adam HaRishon, fell into this world.

From this world, each spark must fully correct itself through the reforming light, and once again rise to the state of equivalence of form with the Creator. The difference is that this time the adhesion with the upper will be from the desire of the created beings. Only in this way can the created beings acquire the necessary vessel to truly receive the abundance intended in the thought of creation, and to appreciate the path laid out for us by the Creator. In this way we become partners with the Creator, rather than simple slaves to His pleasure.

Which version of the Zohar should I be reading from? The Kabbalah center translation, the pritzker translation, or the Kabbalah.info translation. Please let me know, thanks. Also is there an English translation of The Study of the Ten Sefirot?

      • #288214

        Hi Kevin,

A person who wishes to open the book of Zohar need not worry about what section they are reading. What matters is the intention while reading. Meaning, how I want to draw the reforming light to change my nature to be similar to the upper force, which is the quality of bestowal.

The first chapter of TES is translated and can be found in the book “Kabbalah For The Student.”

How can one know for sure if they have a revealed point in the heart?

Is this about you, or somebody else? If it is about you and this is a burning question (desire) in your heart, ask, inside, that’s your heart’s prayer, and He, who is Faithful will answer. 100%. However. Will you ‘hear’ the answer? Do you know His/Her ‘voice’? If you don’t, assume you do and take the bull by the horns and tell it what to do: demand the Creator to ignite the point in your heart. You cannot fail. Failure is not an option, we all are going home together. The effort you dedicate to the spiritual path (path of light) prevents the natural course of events, “nature’s corrections” that work through suffering and pain.

        Hi David,

The fact that you were brought to this wisdom and are asking this question is a sign that your point in the heart has been awakened.  But this is only a sign. A person cannot really know for sure as we are talking about the quality of one’s intentions, and this is mostly hidden from a person.

Hi David, it’s nice to meet you! This was a subject that I just heard about in the Reveal Kabbalahs Secrets guide. From what was explained the point in the heart refers to the simple desire for spiritual attainment. Since you are here it must be a sign that that point has already been activated in your heart. Im really new to this so if someone has anything more to add please do. Good luck!

Only the ‘Holy Spirit’ (new to kabbalah too, I don’t know the equivalent in kabbalah, I imagine is ‘Keter’) can correctly read a heart and reveal the true heart’s desire. Why, when, to whom, for what purpose would He/She reveal this? Most often He/She tells me: Antonina you have judged, and this judgement is incorrect. Then, we start my correction and the subject of my judgement falls by the wayside (the correct one is not revealed).

Many persons study kabbalah for other reasons like: improving their material lives, solving problems. The most prominent recently is ‘knowledge’ and you’ll meet ‘PhDs’ in kabbalah who have not been transformed by their knowledge.

If a person is working lo lishma is it means that he works for himself and not for the creator..?

      • #287889

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Yes but directed at achieving Lishma. Lo Lishma is not the same as a person on the street working for their own ego.</p>
