if a person already in spirituality whats happen in the mind body and surrounding? is it instant happiness etc?
- November 30, 2023 at 11:22 am EST #336121Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
Hey mrc,
This is equivalence with the Creator–enjoying His position, His thought, His intention to do good to the created being. However, if there is more to be corrected, then this is just momentary and the next “layer” of the will to receive is revealed for a person to work on and come even closer to the Creator.

Is the step saying to want spirituality first or wanting it?
- November 29, 2023 at 2:05 pm EST #336067Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
In the beginning, a person does not truly want to attain spirituality. Hence, one must work on acquiring the desire for the desire for spirituality through integrating with the environment of books and friends.

does a kabbalist choose to do good more than pleasure?
- November 29, 2023 at 2:03 pm EST #336066Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
It’s not a matter of choosing good instead of pleasure. Rather, the good actions one does leads to the attainment of the eternal pleasures of spirituality. So by choosing good, meaning bestowal, one receives greater pleasures, but this is specifically in his vessels of bestowal and not his vessels of reception.

what’s the analogy of a being or thing which is pleasurable but cannot have it for long at a time?
- November 29, 2023 at 1:53 pm EST #336065Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Mrc,
The reason a person cannot receive lasting pleasure is because of the tzimtzum, or restriction, which prevents the light of hochma from entering the vessel unless there is an intention of bestowal. Until we acquire this intention, which is the screen, it is not possible to attain lasting pleasure. This help from above ensures that each person will eventually come to the decision that they must attain the quality of bestowal.

in tzimtzum is g-d withdrew to sides or present everywhere?
- November 29, 2023 at 1:47 pm EST #336064Joseph – KabU InstructorModerator
Hi Mrc,
The tzimtzum prevents the created beings from receiving from the Creator directly. This in no way changes anything about Him, but only our perception towards Him. It follows that all concealment is only on behalf of the created being.

if a person more sin if more suffering?
- November 26, 2023 at 4:23 pm EST #335868Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
Hey mrc,
Typically a person who senses suffering is actually sensing their disconnection from the Creator. If one is already in spirituality, this would be a “sin”.
