Since I was sixteen, when I came across the concept of Reincarnation and Karma from a book on Yoga, I have been searching for the key to unlocking the mysteries of our life, and making a direct contact to God, or a guide, my Higher Self, and I’ve studies just about every religion, philosophy and occult teaching I could find. Over and over, I’ve had to adjust my belief system, to agree with the current system.  I thought I’d really found the answers when I found a magical order that seemed to open me psychically. Two beings came to me in my dreams, and I had lots of out of body experiences, but then negative things began happening, and I was forced to stop practicing the rituals, and my guides left me. So now I’m hoping to find out where I went wrong, and return to exploring what I thought was spiritual planes, but really, I want to know I am on the right path, and I’m willing to change my perceptions in order to make true progress. I see that is just wanting to explore these realms, but I know I may have to give up the things I really want to do, like astrology, tarot cards, though I found them very useful tools, even though I do not want to attract those negative beings again. Is this a natural hurdle to achieve spirituality? I just want to make contact with that inner guide or Spark of Divinity, I want to make sure I don’t just repeat the mistakes I’ve already made. This may not be the path I want, but I don’t want to give up, when I could receive even greater gifts that I could then use to help others on their path, rather than just fading away without knowing I accomplished anything worthwhile.

        Greetings Dorothy,

I’m only a beginning student and not a representative of the great initiative here, but wanted to reply. I’ve been “spoken” to as well and I’ve lived similar experiences diving into different belief systems, etc, only to find that something felt to be missing still. We might consider ourselves blessed to not be content with something incomplete. If you’re like me you’ve felt some type of fear related to the new endeavor here because of all the  other paths that didn’t lead to the goal. Perhaps you can decide like I have and forget the past and fully surrender to this new study. If you can do this, please fully commit yourself and not only do every lesson, but do extended reading and video watching of related content. Even re-read everything if it doesn’t fully set in. I truly believe it will be worth the time investment and we’ll be quite amazed.

        Continue blessed dear

        Dorothy,
We are dealing here only with attaining the Creator.  It is a very practical method.
If you are looking to delve in all sorts of other rituals, practices and methods, this method is not going to work for you.
We are studying authentic books passed to us from kabbalist to disciple in an unbroken chain.  Many of the other methods that you mentioned stole a spark from the wisdom of kabbalah and tried to exploit it to manipulate reality for egoistic purposes.
Our goal is to bring the light of the Creator into reality in order to raise reality to the degree of the Creator, good for all.
If this is what you want, you will find it.
If not, I think you will need to keep searching for the right place for you.

Thank you for that answer. Somehow that is about what I thought you’d say.  However, my own Higher Self made it quite clear that I am not to practice those rituals any longer. Please understand, that I thought the whole purpose of that path was for helping the soul to ascend, and when I began having visions and  out-of-body experiences, I accepted these as gifts from the Creator for my constant seeking for answers as to why I was here.  But once the non-human entity began to appear to me, I thought it was a test of faith and courage, but after being manipulated to fall out of bed, injuring myself several times, I realized it was not safe to continue, until I found out just who or what that being was, and Wow! did that lead me down a rabbit hole, which led me to believe that humans are not alone on this planet, and they are not beneficient.  I think that soon what I found out will be revealed to all, as many persons who claim to have served in a Secret Space Force have claimed that they saw many other species while serving on bases on the Moon, Mars, and in space.  This may not sound like a spiritual experience, but I can assure you my primary goal, since I was 16 was find out the truth behind our religions and spiritual teachings, and with a goal to unite with the Creator, to know God. You can laugh at me or deny me entrance into your school, but I know I was exercising powers I once had in previous incarnations. I realized that the so-called journeys I had taken were not in the Higher Planes, but in the lower astral realm that surrounds our planet.  We are in a war with these lower beings, call them the Archons, for they do not possess souls, and we must free our planet of these creatures, and there are many fighting this war as I speak. I can see how a person delving into magic can appear to only be doing so for their personal entertainment or possession of certain powers. Becoming aware that one is in a dream, and then testing it by flying is exhilarating, but it is not safe, unless a true guide comes and shows you the way.  I just can’t believe that all my pain and suffering this life has been for nothing, for just enough was shown to me to realize just how real  higher spiritual realms are. I have no fear of death because of these experiences, and as God wants to bestow these gifts of the Godhead upon those who have proven faithful, I can’t believe that true Kabbalists have not been granted these gifts also. Perhaps I will not see God until the day of my death, but I know I will be welcomed into His Presence.

It seems I have entered a difficult period in my life.  My husband of 46 years contracted dementia around 4 years ago and needed to be placed in Memory Care about 6 months ago.  Many of my family members (siblings) and my husbands siblings have deserted us.  By taking care of my husband I let my friendships dwindle and pass.  To make a long story short, do you think my involvement with learning Kabbalah now is Creators gift to me to learn to turn this isolation and grief I feel into an opportunity to live in peace by loving and accepting all people (and situations) and not seeing what others see in me but what I can see and give (love) to them regardless.  If I learn this it definitely would be a gift.

        Laurel,
I’m sorry to hear that you and your husband are going through such a difficult time.
I’m sure you can reflect on your life and see how it is times like this that bring out very big changes in us.
These things happen in our lives and they help us to come out of ourselves and ask the bigger questions, to discover who we are and what is happening here.
You have found a treasure here and you will find comfort and answers.
Simultaneously, it is important to maintain a normal life in this world, it is not good to be isolated from friends and family.  Maybe there is something you can do regarding that as well.

Does it make sense to add additional two senses to typical five normal senses known from biology?
By additional two senses I mean feelings and internal thought dialog. In Hermetism they are connected to astral and mental body. If I understand this correctly feelings and internal thought dialog is not the person at the core. It’s only a vehicle and similar to typical senses in this regard.

        lukasz,
All of reality is built of ten sefirot. That’s it.
All of our senses are the same structure, the development of our thoughts are the same structure, our desires are the same structure.
        Keter
        Hochma
        Bina
Zeir Anpin (contains: Hesed, Gevurah, Tifferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod)
        Malchut

From this comes the structure of our senses, our organs, etc.
Regarding thoughts and desires, that’s a different subject.
We are at our essence a desire.  Our thoughts arise in order to fulfill our desires.

What’s the actual goal of the creator causing all of this to occur and is it equivalent to a god level of egoism? My mind is boggled as I think about the topic of infinity, yet I have to understand that it’s probably not linear time in the perception of the creator. I have so many questions that I don’t even know where to start, but I’m loving this training.

        Scott,
Let’s say as the kabbalists do that we are in a field of endless light right now, complete fulfillment.
But let’s say for example that you brought a cat to see your favorite band.
The cat sits there licking her paws and you are dancing, singing, reminicing, crying, jumping and the cat…nothing, no reaction.
So, similarly the cat is in a room filled with energy and doesn’t feel a thing.
We are in a field of endless fulfillment and don’t feel a thing.
        Why?
The cat doesn’t have vessels to feel what you feel.  She has ears, but the vessel is not the ear itself, the ear is the preparation for the vessel, the vessel is the desire to enjoy that is developed in you to feel so many more nuances in the air then the cat can feel.

Now let’s go to our second point.  The kabbalists write to us that the Creator wants to create a creature and fill it with all of that endless light.  Since there is no time in spirituality, that “action” is done the moment that thought arises.  So opposite that bestowing force of fulfillment appeared a receiving force big enough to receive endless fulfillment.  That complete receiving desire is called Malchut of Ein Sof.  We are not yet talking about anything material, there is no big bang yet, not this world, nothing material yet.
We will learn all of this in great detail in later classes.
But when you wrote about some god level egoism, you’re barking up the right tree we can say 🙂

      Hello and thank you.

I think that I understand the concept so far.  However, I am in a position in my life of imbalance.  I am not receiving what I need to continue bestowing.  What is needed for that correction?

      • #311900

        Sharon,
First, you need to clean up the previous concepts that your brought with you to the wisdom of kabbalah.
We are not bestowing yet.  To spirituality bestow is a very high degree that means that a person acquired a spiritual screen and is working in two worlds, this world and the spiritual world.
You are referring to how people behave in this world.
According to this world, you need to take care of yourself like every creature must.
In the meantime, separate the spiritual definitions from earning a living and taking care of your necessities.
On top of your necessities you can build your spiritual life.
Like a house that has a foundation in the dirt and upstairs is a beautiful table set with all the delights, but nevertheless, it sits on a foundation of rock.
We also need to stabilize, food, family, money, etc and when we have at least what we need to be healthy and stable we can acquire the Torah.

This isn’t a question, just more of an observation. The more I’ve learned about Kabbalah over the past week, the more I find myself questioning what pleasures I get from doing every little action, like taking a drink. I also found it curious that God has to … pardon the poor paraphrasing … corrupt Himself to help us get closer to Him.

Thank you, Seth.  True, I come to this study program with the teachings of The Maharishi behind me.  However I am very excited to finally be on the path of Kabbalah.

        Sean,
        Nice observation.
You’ll see when we start studying the structure of reality how accurate your depiction is.
