If everything has been predetermined, then so too is the point in the heart unless prevented by our own free will ?

      • #294343

We have to learn in Baal HaSulam’s article The Freedom what is meant by free choice. We don’t have free choice because we always go with the reigns by which the Upper Force animates all our actions. And, as a double concealment, we also believe that we are the ones doing all those actions, by our volition – not realizing that all the decision will we ever make, after all our pained deliberations, could be shown to us in a book, already now. And, even worse, we would find that knowing all of them in advance, we would, in the moment, still be unable to resist doing everything written in that book. Therefore, we need the wisdom of Kabbalah, the method by which I can develop this Point in the Heart. It needs to be developed further, and then it will be a counterpoint to the mechanism by which all my decisions are usually made, being my desire to receive, against which stands nothing – it always determines everything I do because there’s nothing else in me. There’s a Point in the Heart but it’s still not strong enough to be a counterforce. It’s like I get in the car and if I don’t touch the wheel, the car goes automatically towards the left. I’m like that: nothing stands against my ego yet, to turn the wheel so I can drive straight. So I just drive in circles.

Hello Gianni. Great presentation! I learned how creation is present by revealing itself backwards.

So my goal is persistence and patience?

Something better is on the horizon.

      Sincerely, Maria

Certainly something better is on the horizon. This is always the worst state of all that lies ahead. The only question is how soon I will reveal the good that is in store. The longer I stay in my current state the more unpleasant it becomes until I see that I need to change. So the essence of good is constant change, correction.

Hi Gianni, I’m Julio from Indonesia, I’m not sure how i came across Kabbalah, one thing i remember was the voice which then leads to feeling and vision, is that from the upper force? And if G-d wants unity, why am i always taken advantage of from acting good? My question really is how does Kabbalist act towards the other will to recieve? How deep/far should we internalized the calculation to bestow? Are kabbalists always shows positive persona (smiling, friendly) or shows more seriousness and calculative? Since because the people that are sent to us is from the upper force testing us? Too much questions, my apology.

        Hi Julio,

I don’t have such a language. We’re in a system. When the Point in the Heart emerges and magnetizes one to the true wisdom of Kabbalah, he finds it, through whatever channels. Then, for anything further to happen, he needs the Upper Light to work on him, which comes through correct study.

How much should one calculate to bestow? No limit. He needs to correct Al his desires to be in order to bestow.

How do Kabbalists behave externally? You can’t tell a Kabbalist by any signs since his spirituality is all in the intention, and there is nothing else to “fix”.

Thank you for the reply Guru, i feel like i have been brought to kabbalah, because nothing else makes sense and comforting, truthfully I’m in tears right now to finally be able to communicate with someone regarding this matter, i read it somewhere that we shouldn’t talk about kabbalah to a third party that isn’t familiar, because it may disturb their own progress in this lifetime. Since i grew up in Indonesia and the majority are muslim, and my friends were mostly Christians, but they aren’t fit for my ego, I came from a family that practises Zen Buddhism safely to say years that was spent on meditate (see past through illusion/corporeal world) and eating greens, the lifestyle brought me to kabbalah, because i see the living signs, clearly i cannot share things like these to my friends, but i feel so much excitement in my guts, so thank you for responding!

Hello dear teacher. I have only just begun learning about Kabbalah. I don’t yet have any questions- going to let the information and underlying meanings seep in and see what needs clarifying- feeling glad and grateful that the opportunity to ask questions is here!

Are our emotions indicators of the presence or absence of the Light in our kli ?

      • #287205

We are all emotions, we’re feeling creatures. And our brain is only what we imagine as something besides our emotions. But this brain is only a calculator of how can I bring more good feelings to myself and avoid bad feelings. There’s nothing else in reality. The fact that I’m having a problem in this life with bringing myself to good feelings and avoiding bad ones – that’s a certainty. All of humanity begins feeling the empty Kli, that has no Light inside. All of our incarnations all people have been trying to chase how to fill it finally. Never gets filled. You can run towards what looks like the Light of fulfilment, it’s always a mirage. So, eventually everyone will see that it is only if we will be connected, and not alone, but connect to others, in that connection and only in that connection, the Light can enter. And everything you want is in that Kli, and nothing is missing. And this is the only way to receive. That’s why the wisdom of Kabbalah means wisdom of reception. Because you can’t receive, ever, the way that is our natural approach. We need a wisdom of how to do it.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>world of atzilut is abstract, this means that the thoughts and imagination become reality?</p>

      • #285099

The World of Atzilut is not abstract – our reality is abstract, misty, unclear, like a dream. Whereas Atzilut is, by comparison, rock-hard. We need to rise above this reality and we’ll feel it as though coming out of a dream, where you see that it wasn’t real after all. And now you’re entering “the real world”.
