Hello, I’m Chris.

I studied here a few years ago, then decided to pull out of KabU for a couple of years. I thought I needed to get things straight in life, and explore some other spiritual concepts. Well life is still messy and those other spiritual concepts turned out to be dead ends, so I’m back.
KabU always made sense to me. A lot of teachings hit home because you can see for yourself the truth in both the environment and within. The fact that our nature is selfish for instance, that realization taught to me here, has stayed with me ever since.

This time, instead of trying to use the study as a type of self help endeavor, I plan to tackle it more as an academic study. Yes, it involves the study and work upon psychological states and such, but I want to approach this with curiosity, and more of a scientific attitude, to learn what is here. I suspect that the study itself will be transformative, and that the more I learn, the more I will natural grow spiritually.

Hi Chris, Welcome! I’m inspired by what you wrote about approaching Kabbalah more as an academic study. That feels very grounded to me.

I think spiritual study can easily become a matter of accepting ideas, whereas I’m much more interested in treating as an experiment: staying open, observing carefully, and refusing to confuse belief with direct experience. In that sense, we’re each working with an incredibly sophisticated instrument—our own mind, body, and consciousness.

What especially resonates with me is the combination of objectivity and openness: studying seriously, while also being willing to discover that some of our prior assumptions about reality may be incomplete or simply wrong. I think that kind of exploratory mindset is a beautiful way to approach this.

I became interested in Kabbalah as I was studying almost all the religions in the world. Looking for common threads.
I read a book Jesus and the goddesses and it explained Jesus and Sophia in the divine male and divine feminine. and how the Roman Catholic Church took gnosis or would  Judaism would call Daath  out of teaching it. And it made me realize that the esoterically teachings are for the few and not all people. The inner courtyard in the outer courtyard are symbolisms to that fact

Hello everyone. I’m Mikel from the USA, Atlanta, GA. I’ve studied many different religions and spiritual systems throughout the years but I always seem to find my way back to Kabbalah. I’ve always been very curious about this science. But it seems that most of what I know about it has come from occultist and people who aren’t authentic Kabalists. At this time in my life I’m looking for a practical system that I can use to better my life and the lives of those around me. Looking forward to this journey.
