ZacharyParticipantI feel I have gained a deeper understanding of how my “evil inclination” was placed in my for my own benefit so that I could not all the ways in which I am not like the creator. I also see more clearly now that everything is driving us in the right direction, even if it seems bad at the time but also that there is another path without suffering which I will strive to reveal.

ParticipantI’ve found the framework explained here, of the evolution of desire through the satisfaction of desire leading to lack of desire, really fascinating and thought provoking. It leads to the realisation that when our natural desires are satiated, we tend to start looking to enjoy natural pleasures purely out of desire for pleasure in place of the boredom or flatness of desirelessness, which can also lead to the higher spiritual desires. Seems paradoxical that the same state of something like boredom can lead to both healthy higher desires and unhealthy desires that are also higher (strictly speaking) but self-indulgent or evil.

ParticipantI’ve learned to put things in the proper perspective. It allows me to offload certain worries and realize that results and or events in my life are dependent adherence to certain principles. So things are as they should be.

BonnieParticipantI’ve always have had a spiritual connection from a child with the Creator from the time I gave my life to the Him. I was raised up in a family of servants to the Creator in ministry. I too followed that path. My husband was a pastor as well. But it wasn’t until he passed that I began to wonder what life was truly all about. Not having his life to share any longer left me not only feeling so alone but I didn’t know what to do with my life. I didn’t know how to move forward but I knew I must in spite of the way I was feeling or I would be totally lost. Because I wouldn’t give up on my quest to know what was next to come, I knew it was a path that I was not to decide from an egotistic mindset. From the loss of my husband, I have come to know that there is still something I have to fulfill. I found in KB that understanding the Creators purpose is my purpose. I understand that the Creator continues to guide me to Him within the experiences of life. Although I have tried to live a life of obedience, I still felt an emptiness. I now understand that it has all been due to not knowing the true purpose of life. The forces in the world have concealed so much but I’m glad the Creator has given us, through the Sages, what we need to return to Him with a life that has been corrected.

ParticipantTo awaken to the spiritual system behind physical reality—a system governed by precise laws, purpose, and intention.
🔹 1.To to see my desires as the key to your spiritual development
Kabbalah teaches that all of reality is structured around the desire to receive pleasure. The difference between physical and spiritual life is what you desire and why.To realize that unfulfilled desires, frustrations, or confusions aren’t accidents—they’re invitations to grow.
To start shifting from receiving for myself to learning how to receive in order to give—which is the nature of the Creator.🔹 2. To recognize the world as a system of correction
Kabbalah explains that the world is not chaotic, but rather a perfect system (HaTeva = nature = Elokim) designed to guide me to spiritual awakening.Events in my life and history at large aren’t random.
I begin to ask not just “Why is this happening to me?” but “What am I meant to learn or transform in this moment?”🔹 3. To understand that everything is interconnected
Through Kabbalah, I start to sense that I’m part of a collective soul (Adam HaRishon) that was broken and must be reunited. My individual corrections are part of a greater harmony.
I see others not as separate, but as aspects of the same whole.
I feel more responsible, more compassionate.🔹 4. I discover the Creator not as a belief, but as a force of bestowal
The Creator in Kabbalah isn’t a figure to worship but a force of unconditional love and giving.I learn that “closeness” to the Creator is not physical, but about becoming similar in form.
When I align with this force through inner correction, I experience true spiritual joy, peace, and connection.🔹 5. I begin the journey from exile(abandonment) to connection(belonging)
This world is described as a state of concealment (Alma deShekinta – world of lies), and my task is to uncover the truth behind the illusion of separation.I realize your life has purpose beyond material goals.
Kabbalah gives you a spiritual map: the 125 steps of ascent through the 4 worlds back to unity.🕊️ In summary:
By studying Kabbalah, I stop seeing life as a series of random events and start to view it as a structured, meaningful process for evolving my soul. I no longer just survive—I participate in creation itself.
