Preparation Question: Starting a new course in Kabbalah is similar to a fetus moving on to a new trimester. The warm and fulfilling womb is still the same, but the desire and needs of the future human are evolving. Before we start the first week let’s set our expectations. How do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester?

I want to continue drawing the light that reforms through my study of Kabbalah and my interactions with other students and teachers.   I want to learn more about the 10 and start participating in such a group.

I want the Light to influence me to do the best I can and inspire the people I meet to awaken their Point in the Heart.

I pray that the light unravel and resolve a few of my issues.  Without getting into details, I see my ego without previous veils. It is wounded, hurt, judgmental, selfish and conning. It is like the Gordian knot. The more effort you put into untying it, the more tangled it becomes. You can’t untie it. You have to cut the knots. And I don’t think it is possible without the grace from the Light. I hope this course draws that help in.

We expect light to transform our will to receive into will to bestow like creator.

I want to move closer to the Creator with a deeper understanding of my purpose in this life. I have learned quite a bit thus far and now I want to apply the teachings in my everyday life.

I understand that most people are an actual mirror and when we observe certain negative behaviors in them we more than likely have those same behaviors. I want to use every experience/challenge to further my spiritual development.  As I reflect on my years of living, I understand how my egoistic ways have driven me. My selfish desires and not being considerate of others’ feelings have led to poor life choices.

Thus I want to achieve the state of loving my neighbor as myself and the continued development of my 6th sense to understand reality; to not be driven by fear and anxiety but to understand that the Creator wants the best for me and in turn I want to become like Him. Lastly, I also want to bond and become more connected to my fellow students.
