I answered this in the previous question. The article in this week’s related readings was very helpful.  IIt pointed out that pain and sadness comes ffrom us when are less connected to the Creator.

I am hoping to learn here how to do that.  Often I make plans and they blow up in my face.  I think it helps to try and see how the seemingly negative events and feelings in my life are sent by the Creator for my own good.

Often times, after a negative event, I realize that if I had gotten what I wanted, I would be unhappy, and usually the way things work out seem better.

There is None Else Besides Him tells us that the Creator is everything and everywhere.  We are continually being given a choice of which way to go and the path of pain will always bring us back to that choice until we choose the way that brings us closer to the Creator. Our souls keep evolving this way.

By knowing that everything that happens to you has a meaning. Not only that, it is for your benefit.

This a teaching which I had never heard before. And yet, wnen i heard it, I knew deep in my soul i knew it was true. I knew it. But even so I’m struggling with it How can it be that,if i understand correctly, the pain and negativity come from the Creator? The purpose is for us to correct us and teach us? As i said, i know its true, but it still is so much easier to tell myself that these things come from an outside source

And how can the intent of an act is a sin, but the action itself is not? Don’t we have to accept responsibility? I need to go back and re read the passages in order to enhance my understanding. I guess knowing something is true is not the same as understanding the ‘why’ if it?

      Thank you for this opportunity
