We need to grow our perception of reality and maybe we do that by: Drawing the Surrounding Light. Asking for correction when we see the evil of our ego. Ensuring the right environment for our growth. Connecting with others and helping each other.

I understand that if I rise in my spiritual level I can bring others with me. This means more altruistic qualities in the world.

It means to love my neighbor and love the creator.

I suppose there are different facets to this transitioning. But one facet is always trying to consider the broader implications of anything, rather than rather considering only the way that it affects me.

It means to put the needs of others above the needs of yourself.  Always acting like you are serving God in your day to day endeavors.  Being selfless.  By being selfless none grasping we can slowly but surely build a vessel to hold the desire to receive to bestow;  at least this is my understanding so far.

What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail?

An intention to correct our desires from “self satisfaction” to “Creator’s satisfaction” thru work,  study and connection with the group.

Holding as dear to you the desires of your friend/neighbour as your own. Do do this we have to work in a group.
