According to Kabbalah we are supposed to do altruistic things…how is it possible? Creator controls all of our lives.
If Creator controls, how can WE do altruistic things? Does this mean HE does both egoistic and altruistic things using us as his tools?
I can (inside of my …egoistic brain/meat nature) “agree” or disagree to do what creator wants me to do…is that so?
What exactly needs to be corrected. If not actions (as far as I understand they are “hardwired”, like the will to receive is my program) then how do I correct my intention? How long does it take to correct the intention….
Is there a difference between the intention and desire?
Is there a “formula” to track spiritual progress?
Thank you!

I read Baal Sulam’s Talmud Eser Sefirot and it seems like sometimes he uses …logical connections to explain things to the readers…it feels like he wants to say something that we can’t understand and he tries his best to describe it but can’t (because only the person who feels the upper reality can understand him and some things can’t be explained even using the Language of Kabbalah).
My other question is: what should I read more, Ari’s words or Baal Sulam’s commentaries (or both)?
Thank you!

How can I use my will to receive to become bestowing creature and perceive the outside world? All I want is to receive, every action I do has the intention of receiving. I feel only material pleasures and I am driven by it. I don’t understand how can my nature transform into being a bestowing creature by simply studying Kabbalah. It seems impossible!
Yet the books say that by studying, working, putting effort you attract a special light that does the job for you. Then there are reshimot that are activated by your efforts, giving you some sort of a revelation. This makes the whole thing even more confusing.
Would you be able to explain (in simple terms, steps) the whole process of correction. How can I advance FASTER, which steps to take to develop the 6th sense. Mr Laitman once said that it takes about 3 years. (I actually feel like this is an egoistic desire, I doubt that there’s such thing as “faster” in Kabbalah :D) .
So…how do you get through the stages faster, what do you need to do to achieve the very first stage of the upper reality in the least amount of time possible?
Thank you!
