I am able to follow the podcasts pretty well. But the readings from Kabbalah for the Student may as well be written in Latin for all the sense they make to me. Any suggestions?

Is there a hidden message in the Adam and Eve story that relates to Kabbalah? I apologize if I am not phrasing this well.
Amy WParticipantFor all of us, i wish that we might become as one vessel, as one Being, seeking light from above rather than darkness from below.

September 29, 2024 at 6:14 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: In what way have I gained a deeper understanding of my life and of the forces working in the world? #390419Amy WParticipantI have seen the many ways in which I have an opportunity to have an intent to bestow, but I treat that opportunity as a chore. I am working now to change my intent. These are not chores; these are opportunities to bestow.
September 24, 2024 at 3:13 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #389583Amy WParticipantI know I live in a tiny, tiny box. The box is just always asking for more – more food, more pleasure, more comfort, more joy. I know the box will never be satisfied, so living inside the box is ultimately unfulfilling. I need a bigger box, a bigger reality. I do not think I can ever perceive the totality of what is, but surely I can perceive more than what is inside the box!
