August 29, 2021 at 9:42 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #60461ARD51306ParticipantI’m trying to apply this very practically, so when someone was behaving badly towards me the other day, after initially getting angry (my desire), I thought I should see this person as the Creator himself delivering a lesson to me.  Then I can thank God for providing the lesson through this individual.  That allowed me to direct love and appreciation toward this person for the lesson in controlling my emotions.
