Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #468165
DavidParticipantAs I help others advance on their spiritual path, I am living “love they friend as thyself” and joining with the essence of the other. This action connects us at the point of the heart and the Light that Reforms is attracted. It grows between us exponentially. In this way, we can both advance up the spiritual ladder together and more quickly. ”A rising tide lifts all boats.”

DavidParticipantWhat has inspired me in this course is coming to the certain knowing, that my desires are not to be suppressed or extinguished, or something to be ashamed of and hide, but rather that the strength of my desires are an expression of the development of my soul and a measure of the extent of my desire for the Creator. I now understand that my topmost desires (including for material things, intimacy with others, higher knowledge, etc) are not “bad” or “wrong”; they simply show me that I still have work to do and need to focus my attention on the Creator.
My wish for my fellow students is that we join together, for the purpose of realizing the underlying Kabbalistic principle of “Love thy friend as thyself”, and that each and every one of us, as trailblazers and spiritual leaders, achieves equivalence in form and adhesion to the Creator!

DavidParticipantWhat blew my mind is that “Love thy Neighbour as Thyself” is a completely internal, personal process. The correction of the world will naturally follow the correction of each individual.
November 25, 2025 at 12:34 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: Considering our journey thus far, how can we fortify our connection with the illuminating force? How do we amplify its transformative influence? #467640
DavidParticipantI can amplify my connection with the illuminating force of the light by studying the writings of authentic Kabbalists, by noticing the appearance and impact of the ego inside of my relationships, by adopting an attitude of altruism, and by participating in an environment of like-minded, spiritually oriented people who are also working with the teachings and practises of Kabbalah.
November 20, 2025 at 1:06 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: If everyone must reach the ultimate goal, what is my role in the process? #467119
DavidParticipantIf the ultimate goal is for everyone to reach equivalence of form with the Creator, then my role is to follow the path of Kabbalah, in the context of a group of like-minded, spiritually-oriented people. In this way, I can be an agent of bestowal, like the Creator, and have positive impact on those close to me, and the world at large.
November 19, 2025 at 7:58 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #467001
DavidParticipantTo transition from a self-centred, egoic orientation to one grounded in altruism, I must come to the point, through my study of Kabbalah, where my craving for the Creator exceeds my desire to fulfill my personal ego. As I become more and more equivalent in form to the Creator, His quality of bestowal will bring about a natural orientation towards altruism.
