I feel there is a structure of energy and forces, a design underpinning, permeating reality. I cannot understand, imagine or grasp what it might be. It is totally beyond my frame of reference, although I desire to know it. Without unduly limiting it by definition, I am trusting the wisdom of Kabbalah to provide some guideline of understanding without it becoming “the finger pointing at the moon.’ I hope the course will become the first candle in the darkened room of my perception.

(Hi, Xavier)
May 12, 2023 at 10:49 pm EDT in reply to: Welcome to the course! What brings you here? Please share with the community what you hope to gain from this course #319989Dr JimParticipantMy name is Jim. I have recently completed the Four Foundation courses, joined the Graduate group and attended The European Congress/Retreat (still mentally and emotionally getting to grips with that). For me this is the logical next step. I like a sweeping overview which this course would seem to provide. I like Gianni’s clarity. Let’s go!
Dr JimParticipantThis course, indeed all four courses, has taken me to a level of understanding, and hopefully practice now, of which I had little conception. Indeed, I do feel this is a red pill/blue pill moment.
I feel inspired by the concept of having a raised perspective on life, beyond scraping out an unfulfilling life journey.
However, the idea of going beyond my ego, being a group ‘mother,’ a lubricant, a facilitator, an example to others is very scary. Not thinking primarily of ‘myself’ but attempting to ‘be’ that supportive connection for others. Am I up to it?
What do I wish for others? …That my inadequacies and weaknesses will be the opportunity and vehicle for them to start climbing the ladder.
Thank you, Julian and all the course teachers.
Dr JimParticipantSuch profound responses which I can only repeat in the words of another here ‘Through asking the creator to help us and fill us with his light. We must also join with other points in the hearts, which is why the group is so important.’
March 29, 2023 at 1:14 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Prompt: In Kabbalah, our primary task is to draw the reforming light, which supplies all we require for spiritual progress. Moreover, it’s said that aiding others accelerates our own spiritual ascent. How does this dynamic operate? What does supporting fellow seekers with a spiritual inclination entail? #316312Dr JimParticipantI have signed up for the European Congress and I am expecting something very special….a feeling of total warm belonging like I have never experienced before.
