    Hello,

From what I gathered from the videos and reading is that the first Kabbalahistic book was written by Adam, then Abraham, Moses and so on. I am wondering if books like the Books of Enoch, or The Book of Jashur or some of the other apocryphal books were written by kabbalahists? Thanks!

I have really been enjoying my new journey into the Wisdom of Kabbalah through this course and your videos on YouTube. I feel like I am in first grade again!

As a lifelong student of scripture, there was one verse that always kept me scratching my head and wondering the meaning.

Proverbs 18:1 says: “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.” I’ve looked up various commentaries and they are all over the map and of little help.

Since the keyword is desire, and desire seems to be an integral concept in Kabbalah, I wondered if this verse is expounded upon in any Kabbalistic writings?

With my limited understanding of Kabbalah, it seems to me it’s saying, “When the point in the heart of a man turns into a burning desire, he separates from his egoistic corporal existence, and seeks out and integrates wisdom.”

Thanks for any light you may shed.

I expect to begin to grasp the underlying thoughts that form the Wisdom of Kabbalah and how it can be integrated into my life.

I am pleasantly surprised that Kabbalah is not some weird occult slop of hocus-pocus but a spiritual science. I’m impressed that it succinctly attempts to answer life’s biggest riddles and paradoxes with clear, simple teachings.

The greatest thing I wish to achieve through studying the Wisdom of Kabbalah is nothing short of everything! I want to be a vessel the God can freely pour all His light in. I want my face to shine like Moses’ when he was on the mount. I want to walk through the valley of the shadow of death and fear no evil. I want a table spread before me in the presence of my enemies. I want my cup to run over. I want to dance before the Ark of the Covenant with all my might. I want to see what the prophets see. I want to achieve what it is I am supposed to achieve since that was the Creator’s will for my life. I will settle for nothing less.
