ParticipantI have a question, in course this is mention “For a Tikkun to occur, a person must want it to happen. It is a process that evolves out of one’s own volition.
Correction begins when a person realizes that his or her egoistic nature is the source of all evil. It is a very personal and powerful experience, but it invariably brings one to want to change, move from egoism to altruism.” I used to believe, based on Kabbalah videos, that every life event serves as a trigger or mirror for our tikkun (correction). However, after further study, I realized that my understanding was incomplete. Please guide me: Is conscious desire necessary for tikkun to occur? And are my previous efforts, aimed at tikkun, truly in vain?March 11, 2025 at 5:27 pm EDT in reply to: Reflect: Share something from the lesson that blew your mind, or even just gave you a new perspective. #429335Eman
ParticipantThe thing really touched my heart is that the egoism is the source of all the suffering and altruism is the key to connect with creator and become like creator.
It blew my mind that tikkun doesn’t occur untill a person want it to happen. Before this I used to think that everything is happening in our life is for our tikkun correction.March 9, 2025 at 5:17 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: What do you expect from the lesson?
