SmithParticipantIntroduce yourself to your fellow students. Write a few words about yourself and about what you expect from the course.
I’m Luke and I’m from Kaufman, Texas, and I just finished the Kabbalah in Action course. I expect the course to be interesting and fun.
SmithParticipant1.   It made me look at life in an entirely new and different perspective. I know understand that an individual can’t do everything by themselves and just how everything is connected. It inspired me to contrast egoism and altruism, and how I can learn how to be an altruist instead of an egoist. It made me want to participate in a group more.
2.   I’ve learned that becoming a Kabbalist is tough when you are not going to surround yourself with people who don’t care about being like the Creator. Through dissemination to one degree or another, we can become like a passageway for the light.
3.   I wish the best for them.
SmithParticipantThe paradigm would shift in that all actions would be taken as a result of God’s will whether it be justice or mercy. Acting altruistically would not always necessarily mean giving people what they want but rather what they need.
August 9, 2025 at 3:38 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Prompt: In Kabbalah, our primary task is to draw the reforming light, which supplies all we require for spiritual progress. Moreover, it’s said that aiding others accelerates our own spiritual ascent. How does this dynamic operate? What does supporting fellow seekers with a spiritual inclination entail? #448441
SmithParticipantThe light passes through those who aid others. Dissemination.
