Hello, I am Greg. I am looking to reinforce and add to some of the learning I have already taken, to prepare my heart for the work to come.
At this point I prefer hearing the Zohar in Hebrew. I am not tempted to try to understand because I don’t understand a word.
I think my best experience from the previous course is that I continued to have a great hunger for the creator. Learning about some of the basics was important, but there was no way in 10 weeks that I could digest all of the concepts intellectually but that doesn’t matter. The intellectual part will develop and I can always go back to the content when I need to, and will find the right teacher, books, and environment when I am ready to receive the correct instruction.
I expect to begin the practical work of Kabbalah, to learn how to pray and walk the path to correction.
The biggest inspiration I have is how important it is to attain the ability to love my neighbor as myself. Not for me but for them. Not for my pleasure but the pleasure of the creator. I have learned that I have a long way to go but with the correct teacher, books and environment I can change myself to be part of the solution to the problem of ego in the collective soul. I pray that my fellow students will find the right teacher, books and environment.
