are we in the “preparation period” right now?  then Lo Lishma, then there is crossing the Machsom, then Lishma?

what marks the transition from preparation period to Lo Lishma? is it that I notice I do things not because I should but I want to? how to make that transition happen?

what need to happen in order to increase the importance of the creator? is that a result of prayer or a result of my own effort such as:   attend a class whether I feel it or not, read an article whether I want to or not, make time for friends etc…and eventually by doing those things  that I don’t deem to be important (yet) will eventually increase the importance of the creator?

Hi Gianni, please refer to below excerpt. if the Creator created everything for his glory, isn’t his bestowal (towards us) driven by self-love (for his glory)?

 

“Every one who is called by My Name, I have created him for My glory.” This means that the whole world was created only for the glory of the Creator. The lower force is the will to receive, which claims that everything was created for it—both corporeal things and spiritual things—all is for self-love.”   (Shamati 50)

Hi Gianni

how are ascends(125 ladders) and descends manifested? through our emotions? how do I even recognize if I am in an ascend or descend?

I recall during one class I asked how do I know if I am receiving light of the creator(something like that), you said “You will know”… is above question similar to that? The fact that I am asking this question, possibility due to that I am not there yet, I have no clue of what ascends and descends are?
