ParticipantHi Gianni,
We learn that the Creator’s plan is guaranteed for every soul, and that humanity can advance either through the path of suffering or through the path of Kabbalah.
My question is: within the Kabbalistic path itself, can there also be, relatively speaking, a “path of pain” and a “path of acceleration”? In other words, can certain conditions in a Ten lead to a smoother and faster advancement, while other conditions lead to unnecessary suffering and delays”
What are some of the most common mistakes that young Tens make that cause them to advance through the “path of pain” within Kabbalah, and what should they be aware of from the beginning to avoid them?
Thanks

Participantthat helps!
I am trying to understand the image of the diagonal ladder. what I can picture is a mountain road that zig-zags between left and right as the ten gradually learns to stay more in the middle line. Is this a useful image, or is the diagonal ladder meant differently?
Also, since the Temple the final corrected common Kli, Â before the Machsom we mainly prepare for it and after the Machsom we begin actually building it? and the middle line is where the Temple is being built?
And you said Heaven as being above the will to receive, does that mean a person can be in and out of Heaven many times during a day? does it only “exist” after Machsom?
thanks

ParticipantHi Gianni
during today’s class about prayer, Rav said something like
“I cannot pray 24 hours a day, but if I am with other students and friends, we can organize ourselves so that the appeal to the Creator continues all the time.”
We are constantly in this work. It is such work that, as those who studied with us remember, we read about the students of the Ramchal, that they were constantly in prayer, in shifts, around the clock. And as it is written, ‘Would that one prayed all day.'”my question is, if a ten does not yet have a constant, sincere prayer, is it useful/recommended to organize prayer shifts during the day, where each friend prays for the ten at a designated time? Can this external action help us acquire a true collective prayer?
thanks

Participantthank you. it does seem like inner work is very individualized and Creator wants us to fill the holes ourselves.

ParticipantHi Gianni, I had a guess of what you would say 🙂
I am not escaping, I actually would like more work but since we don’t meet often in an active fashion , I find myself very hungry for spiritual advancement yet there aren’t very many raw materials for me to work on . We were advised to meet everyday outside of Arvut, we currently do one and will add another after the congress. We are still figuring things out together. meanwhile I feel this huge deficiency for spiritual connection, I want my ego to be revealed so I can act on it, those spiders you mentioned, I do see them in my corporeal life but not much in my spiritual life. right now things feel passive in the spiritual life. I am probably doing things wrong. I need your help!
thanks
