ParticipantHi Seth,
So far I think I am beginning to relate to this way of perceiving reality through the quality of “bestow”. If you can confirm if I have the right idea so far:
When I feel the most energized and full of life, it is when I am sharing something that someone wants. Like when I am teaching someone something that will help them progress financially and they really appreciate what I have shared.
Is this touching on the quality of bestow or is this again something related to my egoic will to receive?
Am I discovering the will to bestow through sharing my skills? or is this still the will to receive praise from the appreciation of another person?
May 26, 2025 at 10:41 am EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #440080Jeffrey
ParticipantPerception of the creator. Perception of the resistances that happens between my box and the “point in the heart” so I can be aware of what is going on around me. Perception of how to receive without becoming trapped within addiction and reliance on the reduction of pain. Perception of true fulfillment.

ParticipantIt really blows my mind that there is an explanation for why the fulfillment of my desires have been so transient. I thought there was something wrong with me. But to find out that to be unfulfilled is by design. That is truly heartening.

ParticipantAm I correct in thinking that the study of Kabbalah will develop a spiritual perception inside me? A direct perception? Something other than a filter?

ParticipantA better understanding of what is going on inside me and around me. To learn from my life experiences with an understanding of the ultimate goal. To prevent myself from making the same mistakes unnecessarily.

ParticipantMy name is Jeffrey.
I’m 43 and manage a pet food store.
I want to learn more about Kabbalah to see what it can teach me about myself. Why am I alive? How can I make the most of my time here on Earth? What could I meaningfully achieve in a temporary life? What does it mean for my next experience after this life? How am I limiting myself and why?
