Just a comment that this is really very simply and clearly explained and it is making great sense to me on an ordinary corporeal level and at the same time I am feeling the impact of an energy which I feel is very positive and is moving me forward experientially, beyond what I would expect form straight forward knowledge, so many thanks

February 18, 2022 at 11:44 pm EST in reply to: Reflect: Share something from the lesson that blew your mind, or even just gave you a new perspective. #282045JohnParticipantI am surprised and grateful to find that all I have learned through conventional philosophy and the different spiritual paths I have followed up to now, and which I had released, are actually useful in understanding what you are now presenting. It does show some idea of purpose and continuity to life, that my intention has led me in the right direction, even though I did not understand it at the time, so what I am hearing now resonates with what I have learned to this point, and is adding depth and clarification as I proceed.
February 18, 2022 at 9:13 am EST in reply to: Ask anything about week 1 lesson and materials and get an answer from a senior Kabbalah instructor. #282005JohnParticipantThank you for your reply Albert, but you have missed the point of the question. Certainly the body can have a satiety sense that tells it when it has eaten enough food for the moment. But when I bought I new colour large screen TV a friend at the time said ‘within a week it will just be the TV’ He was wrong. Every time I used it, I was aware of enjoying using it, and when I was not using it, I was enjoying the fact that I had it. It never did become ‘just the TV’. So I am saying that what you are teaching is not true in my experience, even though I would like to believe it. When my desires are satisfied I continue to enjoy the satisfaction of the desire. I would appreciate it if you can apply your mind to this for me.

JohnFebruary 16, 2022 at 1:22 am EST in reply to: Ask anything about week 1 lesson and materials and get an answer from a senior Kabbalah instructor. #281854JohnParticipantI like what I am finding, but have one difficulty. The law that as soon as a desire is met it no longer satisfies does not apply in my experience. If I want something and I get it, I continue to enjoy the satisfaction of having it for as long as I keep it. As this is fundamental to your explanation, I feel I need to address it as it is the only part that is not true for me in my experience. I am not just referring to one instance, but to a continuous experience throughout my life.
