JonathanParticipantDuring a meditation last week, I had what I believe was a “point in the heart” experience. Although is it wrong that Jesus was the one who gifted it to me? This made me think about the passage, “No one comes to the Father except through me,” which I had never really understood/accepted until this recent experience.
I’ve been reflecting on how our spiritual upbringing might shape the way we experience Kabbalah. Since Kabbalah is often described as a spiritual science, could it be that the faith tradition we were raised in, even if we don’t actively practice will affect our Kabbalah experience?

JonathanParticipantRegarding the analogy of giving the chair, if your friend wants to be like the creator and gives the chair back are both you & your friend not stuck in a giving paradox loop as neither want to be in a state of wilful receiving?

JonathanParticipantI’ve been able to review my life so far through the lens of Kabbalah and see where I have been aligned with the principles and where I have not. This is helping think how to reduce the frequency of times that I am not.

JonathanParticipantI am Jonathan McElligott, I was born in 1985, and I am from the Highlands of Scotland. I’ve always been aware of the Kabbalah, but I only recently became aquatinted with the Jewish mystical texts as my interest in Western Occultism grew. I have recently been reading Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn material and the Esoterica YouTube channel is very illuminating regarding these matters. I’ve been battling to learn the Hebrew alphabet with a long-term goal to be able to read one day. It feels natural to connect with a Kabbalah community to nurture my growth regarding this science of the spirit.
