Moreover, it’s said that aiding others accelerates our own spiritual ascent. How does this dynamic operate? What does supporting fellow seekers with a spiritual inclination entail? #427091

ParticipantConnecting with others is the beginning of our spiritual ascent. Life is about learning to relate to and connect with others. Events in our lives are only necessary to teach us how to make the right connections and develop the right qualities. To develop our qualities into those of bestowal, we need each other.
Supporting my fellow seekers starts by interacting. The goal would be for each of their desires for spirituality to become mine as well. For me, this would be like getting to know a friend. I want to know all about them. I would learn how my internal qualities and theirs can combine in the best possible way.
All this is added to what we have already learned about drawing the reforming light.

ParticipantI am here in this body at a time when we have become intertwined across the globe. Nature has pushed us to this interconnectedness, although we still act separated by many boundaries. If we reveal the “system that’s becoming apparent,” we pull ourselves toward the goal of creation and align with Nature.
Since we all have to do this, we need the whole world’s participation. I can’t be corrected without connecting to the others, and I can’t connect if they don’t want to. We depend on each other.

ParticipantTo be connected means to share or have common desires. I’d like to share the desires of bestowal, altruism, and love with others. We help each other find those and grow those above the egoistic desires.

ParticipantMy motivation for things I used to find fulfilling is gone. I’m only interested in revealing the Creator in my life. Yet, I am in a place where I don’t see Him enough to take action in anything because I don’t want to draw further away from Him. I continue through my days and I am studying, but what should my prayer be? Should it be for an altruistic quality?

ParticipantIt’s so simple, but hearing about the difference between the circle and the line helped me this week. (The circle is a direct product of the light and not of desire.)
