I really appreciated the shift in perspective regarding “evil.” To be able to recognize that God truly is using all things, and therefore evil is in and of itself a misunderstood idea, was very helpful for me in looking at my life with eyes of appreciation. I’m looking forward to understanding the idea of the ego better instead of always trying to be rid of it or pretend it’s not there. This feels like a very practical next step.
katyParticipantI’m realizing how much I hide behind the intellectual side of studying spirituality. As a professional dancer, I use movement for healing and teach connection on a daily basis… But for some reason I separate my studies in a way personally. I think because I have had troubles in the past with groups who would fellowship together but not take it as seriously as I would, now I tend to disconnect when I really should be reaching out more consciously for connection through studies and remembering that those very same troubles we’re all designed to help me develop more. It is definitely my prayer that we are all able to recognize our individual impact, but also choose daily to be part of a collective flame together instead of just independent sparks.

If I see HaShem in all things then I will have to choose to even see him in the negative. A words change. A perspective change. Really a while attitude change would be required.
katyParticipantIt’s been deeply humbling to question my intentions behind my work. To question even my intention behind studying Kabbalah. The ego is a strange thing and I cannot say I have thought much of it before.
I deeply wish for all involved here to receive increased clarity as we pursue truth together. It can feel messy sometimes and I know what a relief it is when you begin to understand (even when that understanding is rooted in NOT really understanding).
It’s a joy to be growing with all of you.
May we take this connection and use it in our daily lives to see the Creator at work and the value in those around us both near and far.January 11, 2022 at 4:12 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: How can we get in touch with the upper force and act with it mutually? #222144katyParticipantThe only way to get in touch and then acts with the Upper Force is to change our intention
January 11, 2022 at 4:01 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #222141katyParticipantI would hope to a perception that is in equivalence of form with the Creator’s desire for how we should perceive
